gubh83,

any images submitted from may 5 to jun 30 are considered (if approved).

by the way, although i'v had about 53 approved so far for about a week, none are actually showing up in my port. will they be witheld till after the promotion?

No, if they have been approved they should show up in your port and be for sale. If they are not there, you might want to send an email to support.

I also started to upload again to Veer since the 5th. Thus far I have 155 images accepted and only 5 rejected. So far so good. Just now I received an e-mail: "Weekly Update: Your Veer Dash for Cash earnings so far", stating that I have 50 photos reviewed and accepted to date, which earned me $35.00 ???. Anyone else received an update with numbers that does not correspond with your actual acceptances?

More a Race to Rejection for me. First 100 reviewed yesterday: 19 accepted! Out -Croatian landscapes, seascapes, Krka waterfalls. In -a bunch of animal shots taken at a local animal park (meerkats, gorilla, ostrich etc). Oh, and some Tamworth pigs at another local animal place. Just my luck to get the animal loving, agrophobic reviewer again ;D I'm off to a Greek island soon, so cue lots of donkey and goat shots! Regards, David.

We are constantly editing and approving images, so the discrepancy most likely stems from the update data having been pulled and compiled a few days before the message went out.

I'm sure that describes what happened here, but if you shoot me an email at [email protected] I'd be happy to take a look at your account to make sure.

I have the same observation as Eco, but I totally trust Veer in this (more than some other agencies). Another question is the Twitter sweep-stake. I followed the instructions, but how do I know my Tweet will be honored? Does it have to stay on top till the end of June, or can we make more tweets?

Well, so far today I have had 11 images reviewed and 11 images rejected. The funny thing is, 8 of them were approved the first time around. I can see that this is going to be a waste of my time, again. I don't know why I even bothered.  :(

I've just had 17 out of 17 approved. But so what? My calculation this year is a total return of about $2/month on Veer with 294 of my best. For me V continues to be a waste of my time also. No more uploads until traffic and sales there improve.

Thanks for posting guys.  I was mildly tempted by the Dash for Cash and the hopes that Veer had learned something from the apparent failure of last year's big VM launch, and the similar failure of Snapvillage.

But it appears that they are no more savvy about microstock content and no more able to deliver sales than ever.  Glad I didn't bother.  Fool me once.....

Just a few minutes ago my first batch of images was approved - I uploadeded them right after Veer started their campaign, so 2 weeks for approval seem to be common. The acceptance rate in my case is about 65% which is exceptional good for me being a beginner still. So far so good, lets hope the good news continue.

Interestingly when SV first launched and for the longest time you could get 100% of images accepted. I guess they were building at the time.

I seem to being doing fairly well there. I have a 70.3% acceptance ratio. Though keep in mind that is from all the photos ever uploaded (not just during dash for cash). I am not too far from first payout.

On the vector side, things are going well. My first batch was over 90% on acceptance. I'll see if that percentage will hold with the second.

The day the promotion started, I started submitting images.  One week later, the first batch were inspected, and 79 were accepted on to the site.  Last week I, too, received the earnings update stating that I had 77 images approved, and that had earned me $53.90.  I'm happy with that, however, I don't quite know why I'm only being paid for 77 when 79 were approved. :)  I guess it will all 'turn out in the wash'. :)

Since then, I now have another 328 images awaiting inspection.  Over 100 of these have now been waiting to be inspected for two and a half weeks.  I'm patient.  Veer has pledged to pay for all images that are accepted between the 5th of May and the 30th of June.  So, even if none of my images are inspected until July, I still know that I'll be paid for the accepted ones.

I've worked out that I'll be able to submit another 500 images between now and the end of the promotion.  That means I will have uploaded around 900 images during the promotion.  Due to the fact that I already had 428 images approved prior to the promotion, there's a strong possibility, provided I continue to achieve my current success rate of a bit over 70%, that I'll receive $1.40 for each image accepted during the promotion.  Here's hoping!!!! :)

I'll let you know how I go. :)

Well, my initial report (above) was very discouraging, but it appears that I now have 88 approved and 12 rejected. I am hoping it continues at that rate.

How are the inspections going?

I've now got 434 images awaiting inspection, that I've uploaded over the past four weeks.

Just wondering if others are sharing the same experience.......

400 submitted and 100 approved, 300 waiting so far so good... but will wait to see how the sales go before porting the rest of all my 1500ish photos after the dash...

OK, an update.......... :)

On the day the promotion started, I commenced uploading batches of 100 each week.  Since that time, I've had three batches inspected, and out of those three batches I've had 245 approved.  I'm happy with that.  I now have another three batches awaiting inspection.

Between now and the end of the promotion, I'll be able to upload another three batches of 100.

I'm hoping to get between 600 and 700 images approved during the promotion.

The good news is that I've had two batches inspected in the last four days, so the inspection process seems to have cranked up a notch. :)

Hasn't cranked up for me yet. But then again, I'm a little perturbed about their latest announcement.

But then again, I'm a little perturbed about their latest announcement.

It's not a concern to me as I usually reach a payout every 3 months or so but... if they drop the end of year payment, they should really considering lowering the minimum payout aumount. Otherwise a lot of submitters will fell discouraged.
