Using Version 1.3.1  ( I am amazed at how quickly and well this has developed...Thanks Leo)

My "big" issue I am now dealing with is widgets on my home page.

I install the widgets in the home page section and they don't show up. If I want somthing to show up in the sidebar, I need to install it in the sidebar space, not the home page sidebar space.

I have set a static front page, but using the latest post doesn't change.

What am I doing wrong?  Is there a difference between front page and home page?

Glenn

Where do I find the Template?

EDIT.

Ok I found the template setting, they are on the page>edit

There are 4 home settings

HOME page CTAs
HOME page simple
Home page
Home page - Sidebar

I was using the last one.

Now I have switched to HOME page CTAs  and it seems to be working.

Leo - could you give a brief description of each option?  I was testing out some and wasn't getting what I expected.  It would help to have a description of which widget spaces work with which home page option.

That would be good. I am behind everyone again and i am concentrating on getting images up, as google had already starting indexing my files. But i will want to use some of these widgets and sometimes the topics get spread out amongst different threads.

I wish there was a better way to label them - here is from memory

CTA template (stands for Call To Action  because it has tons of widgets...), top to bottom

widget (full width)
Content Area, Side Widget (50/50)
widget(full width)
widget(1/3) widget(2/3) widget(3/3)

Simplified template, top to bottom

Content Area, Side Widget (50/50)
widget(full width)
widget(1/3) widget(2/3) widget(3/3)

Basic:

Content Area, Side Widget
