How to change the logo of my symbiostock site? It is said: URL to Logo you upload in Media area. Must be 128 128 px or it will not validate.

Where I can find this url?

How to upload logo, which dont appear with watermark of symbiostock

If you go to the media area (toward the top) you can upload a logo you've made for yourself. When you do that, if you click "edit" you will find the URL which you can paste into that field.

Create your logo on your computer at the size it says. Go to Media in the left column of wordpress. Upload the logo from your computer. When it is finished uploading, click on the name. To the right you will see the url of the logo. Copy it, then go to symbiostock settings page and paste it in the correct slot (i think its the top one), replacing what was there. Save.

Edit: oops posted the same time as leo.

Cathy,

I tried your steps, but nothing shows up?  The default logo disappears, but mine won't show up.  I upload the media file, then use the edit to show the URL, copy and paste that into the symbio header, but it won't show up.  If I delete my URL, the default one shows back up.  Any other ideas?

Thanks Leo!

The video did the trick, I hadn't noticed the URL box on the right side.  I tried using the one listed on left, and it wouldn't work.  But after a few seconds of your video I saw you use the URL on the right side, and now it works.

Setting this up may not be a good idea when one is really tired, but I wanted to make some progress.

Glad you got it working.

Not mentioned previously - there are 2 other 'logos' you can change - the avatar & site logo at the bottom of  the network settings page. These display when a network partner displays your search results.

I noticed some people have logos on their sites but haven't changed these yet.

I know this is an old thread, but I can't find anywhere to change the logo on the image page (the one a buyer will purchase from) from the small square symbiostock ladybug logo to my logo. I have the image but can only see on the Symbiostock settings tab, entries for the main header, login page, watermark and PayPal page.

Same question for the avatar image - where do I enter my image file info for that?

That changes once you set up your network.  There will be text areas where you can point them to the url of your logo image.  Those you will upload to your media section of Word Press.  To get your link you click on edit on the image you want then copy and paste that url into the appropriate box.

I had the same questions earlier this month but can't remember where I posted it to so I can't link you to that part of the thread.

The profile photo is where chromaco described it.

Thanks for the tips.

I hadn't activated the network settings as I'm not done setting anything up, but once I did, I could see the place to enter the two logos. However I'm still seeing the ladybug on image pages (and I uploaded a new image as I wasn't sure if the problem was not updating existing pages), for example

Is there some other step I need to perform?

Underneath at the bottom there will be two check boxes.  Update public network info and update public image info.

I think you need to check the box for update public image info and see if that gets them to show up.  If not repeat the same step with the other box or you could just check mark them both and click save changes :)

There's a warning - perhaps it's a bug in 2.6.0? And perhaps that's why nothing is updating even when I check those boxes?

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home5/digitdt6/public_html/blog/wp-content/themes/symbiostock/inc/classes/network-manager/network-manager.php on line 1039

I'll try and figure out where the bug reporting thread is...
