I've had glitches with Network List from the start and I still don't appear properly on the Symbiostock Network Page.

Click my Sitelink or Avatar and if you'll go to my site's homepage rather than my Author Page. Click on "Author Page" and you'll still get taken to my site and not my Author Page. So, AFAICT, no-one can directly access my Symbiocard.

Now I've disappeared from Cascoly's List except for one mention.

My obvious concern is that because of the Symbio Network problems that seem to have affected me from the start, my content continues to appear inconsistently, if at all, in searches.

If other Network Members don't realise I exist, I'm also not going to have any incoming links (should someone want to link to me).

There may also be other problems that I am not aware of.

Any ideas?

Russell  - If you are using Yeost then try resetting it to its default or toggle it

Thanks you two.

Christine - that worked! As far as the Network Page is concerned at least.

I guess after the database updates later I should reappear on who-links-to-who list. Fingers crossed.

I had that problem a while ago and Leo found the answer for me

Yeah, I can't remember ever ticking it and I didn't notice whether I had before I reset Yoast to the default but there is a tickbox that redirects the Author Page to the site's Homepage. Or maybe it was a combination of other settings.

Whatever, my Author Page is visible now so thanks again. (And vicarious thanks to Leo for the original fix that resulted in my fix).

I just updated all symbiocards to make sure, but the 'who's connected' page still shows only my site connecting to yours.

f I run a search on http://symbiostock-search.com or http://symbiostock.info for 'puffin' your pix come up on both, but when I run it from my sym site, I only get my own puffins, even though I've got you on my list...  something for ajt / leo to track

Imagenomad: Something spoils network results, there is some js code added at beginning. I did some search, and this can be Discus plugin. Do you have it installed?

Yes I do use Disqus for my Comments. Should I deactivate it?

Yes, if you want others to link to  your site :)
With this plugin your network results are not displayed.
So maybe deactivate it, and if you want to use it in the future, try to find a solution.
Here is something, maybe it will work for you:
http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-disqus-comment-system-disqus-comment-system-showing-weird-code-on-my-page
There is something about "advanced options", which allow to fix it.

This "weird code" is added to your network results, now it looks like this:

Thanks for that. I've changed the "JS in the Footer" option initially as suggested in that thread. If I continue to have the same problems, I'll deactivate Disqus.

Thanks for your help with this.

Russell

How could anyone be prejudiced against puffins?! (Unless you particularly love sandeels...)
