I followed  your link, but then wandered off to check out various other reviews etc, & rewatched a Lynda tutorial I saw a while back, so maybe didn't use your link directly to make the order by the time I'd been on several sites on various tabs.
I got $20 off.

I think if you get in directly from the link, you will get a combined discount.
If anybody else buys it that way at a greater discount, please let us know, if it has worked.

I wonder what is the selling potential of photos modified with such filters?

I doesn't use Topaz Filters, but NIK-Filters (which a very close to Topaz). And these filters makes a great job, there are so many possibilities. And yes, pictures I have edited with NIK filters sell well. Of course, all effects you can achieve with a lot more work even in Photoshop. But they save time.

Luckily for me it's not all about selling potential. No point in uploading to iStock, I end up at the bottom of all FAA searches, so no point in that, and Alamy is just Alamy, so nowadays it's about what I want to do.
In the old days, this sort of filter wouldn't have been accepted on iStock for one.

Yes, I use the Nik filters too.
And I know some studios of photo post production using them too.

Color Efex Pro is a must for a digital photographer I think. It is really great, and I love the tonal contrast filter more that any other.

But these are filters for photo post production, not for re-elaboration of photos in an "artistic" way like does Topaz Simplify.

And if I want to give a photo a "painting" aspect I prefer Alien Skin's Snap Art

Also, on FAA, there is a collection (contest) with 160 images, processed by Topaz Simplify. Not all images there are of exhibition quality, but some are quite nice and they demonstrate well the variety of looks you can get by using this plugin. Here is the link to the pictures:

You can even cast a vote on the images you like. For more information, here is a link to a short article on my blogsite with some examples:
