Title: Snap Village Slow
Post by: takestock on January 29, 2008, 16:36
Do you find SV site slow to move around in with pages taking ages to load.
I know it's only in Beta so that's probably part of reason.

Hopefully it will speed up soon.

Anyoen with problems to log in?  I keep being sent to the login page.  I even reset my password, still the same problem.   >:(

I'm uploading there right now without problems, but at times of the day when the connection is slow, it tends to do weird things, and nothing works. They have some user interface solutions that are supposed to look cool, but that only slow things down. I get the impression that they simply don't work if the communication is too slow. Sorting the portfolio by views, is one that doesn't always work.

I still have problems.  Maybe I should clean the cookies or something.  Odd...   ::)

It may also depend on a browser. I use Firefox.

I haven't changed browsers, I use IE6 for SV, and that's how I signed up and uploaded images months ago.  I don't get a password error msg (I tried a wrong pw and then I get an error msg), it simply accepts my pw but apparently logs off (if I got to the upload page, it asks my login again).

I've sent them an email about it.
