Everything worked fine till march when suddenly I got -25% in April and the start of May is also not going good... Are there some kind of holidays going on??? or what may be the reason according to you...

It's Workers Day today, public holiday in many european countries (not sure about US), many people had a day off yesterday. Also there will be soon Day of Victory / Liberation Day in many countries, I guess it's different date in different countries but usually it's May 8th. So nobody will work next Monday as well.
Expect sales like it's permanent weekend these days.

It's normal for April I'd say. Mine were -15% and I don't worry about it (mostly due to ELs, I got just a few this month). But today's sales are really pathetic so far, I find it really surprising that US sales aren't already kicking in (I got just a few so far) so it really shows it's a day off in Europe. It looks like IS has mostly American buyers, sales are not affected over there at all.

There was an Easter Weekend (in many countries) and Spring Break (UK) in April.

in the US it was considered a Soviet propaganda day - ignoring the otherwise worldwide recogniyion

workers + unions = socialism  by right wing americans

Only have a total (all sites) difference of $0.25 between March and April (guess I am just lucky).

Think our government should have sent their employees to work today ("workers day"), maybe they might have misunderstood and actually worked for once!  ::)

We have Labor Day on the first Monday in September.  It's the same thing, I would imagine - a day to celebrate workers.  Most people take a long weekend and have a picnic or something.

My sales at SS were pathetic yesterday. But I still got more sales from from Europe than the USA :o (and on a normal weekday sales are about the same)

For example in the Czech Republic 1st May is not only Labour day but also The Day of Lovers, which is considered as a famous, traditional and non-commercial alternative to US import Valentine. It is a public holiday and a man has to kiss his woman under the blooming cherry tree :-) Anyone got more "blooming nature" downloads yesterday? :-)

The first 2 days of May are pathetic. Things are better today though, but still way below average, at least when it comes to subs, I only got 2 ODs so far today and no other no sub sales. And yes, I know it was the labour day yesterday ;) . I just hope the fun won't stop now, that I've gotten used to nice, growing sales and more importantly, earnings.

Can anyone with significant number of DLs reveal his/her May trends?

It really gets my goat when people laugh about providing a sub-standard service to our customers. Selling images with hidden defects reflects badly on all of us.

I believe you are way pissed around Yuri and starting to be mean all around, you need to deal with that issue please.. regarding my picture it was done in 2009 where actually I didnt knew jack about sensor spots, only noticed it yesterday when I saw the sale, I believe that we should laugh about ourself if not we are just too serious.. for sure I will work around that picture and upload again, please dont go and tell Jon :)

I would say I am back to April levels at SS (which was around 5 - 10% down from March).

In fact, I'd say all sites except for DT are doing about what they did in April.  Monday this week was bad, but Tuesday things bounced right back, and the rest of the week is looking good.

Yes, SS bounced back today for me as well. SS really can't go down for more than a day or 2. In fact sales are already almost double from yesterdays (and I'm usually at 75% of my earnings at this time of day). IS is good, a couple of semi niched series are selling nicely, FT is good too, got a few large credit sales today, but I agree that DT is pathetic, just one sub for today so far...

It's a little weird out there now. I'm overall up but very crazy ebb and flow on all the sites for me the last 30 days, but monthly sales seems to be ok in the end.

Picture downloads follow the stock market.

Check it.

Which actually tells us who our costumers are.

Check it if you dont believe me.
