Down this morning in UK but up now - except that vector uploads are disappearing AGAIN and sales are 50% lower than a normal Friday.

Game of ping pong anyone?

The site is up here, but the search is acting very strangely. Can't search by anything other than popular all images. Trying to change the search takes you back to the home page.

Well here in Serbia it doesn't work at all, still... But app for Android seems to work fine.

did your month started well??? mine did and i was quite pleased after a slow may,
but last week till now it slowed to a trickle and quite a number of zero days.

is this attack thing something a site like ss cannot prevent???
why is it that for some sites you get this warning for downloading too many,
and yet ss cannot put up something to warn itself if a hacker is flooding them with useless data.

can't they have some sort of red flag to stop you and ask you to reboot or something?
i'm old-school so i don't know how this hacker attacks works, but surely you think a #1 stock site would
already have some preventive measure so we don't suffer too many of these zero days due to
eff-ups like that.

DDOS attacks are fairly common. It's basically flooding the site with more traffic than it can handle. There are people who threaten websites all the time, like protection rackets. Ask them to pay x amount or else they get DDOS attacked. Information is not compromised, but nobody can access the site. There are sites that helps it like CloudFlare, but it's expensive.

Up here but mass rejections. All rejected in last 2 days for soft  focus. As I see all my pics are exactly same in focus like other in past weeks. I think editors bots are set to reject all (to me at lesast)

Terrible sales, but then Shutterstock has been falling like a stone for me even though i upload regularly with over 7000 images.
No zero sales days but pretty close sometimes.

lol, even with the web there is extortionist; guess the small time crook has moved from ethnic district seeking protection money from mom and pop store to www.

i think the most frustrating is that we don't always know when these attacks are regularly experienced, except maybe the hint of increased zero days.
and worst of all is when we uploaded several batches of new work , only to be left with new work unseen by clients and all wasted effort to keep our port consistently up-dated
but many of the new works never see the light of day due to these DDOS attacks.

Maybe best to see if zero days keep getting occuring, and all these new works still see no dls, to stop uploading new work to ss... until ss over -paid-IT ppl start working for their salary and not get outdone by these amateur hackers

I guess almost every site in the world is vulnerable to this sort of attack. The bigger the site the more expensive attack preparation is. I have videos only with occasional sales so it's hard to make any conclusions.
