You made me laugh, thank you. She made a comment that I should not speak, because the media misinform me and distort reality.
All Americans? No, just 70 million, that's a lot of people. It is very complicated. And we are talking about a president who is on the networks every day asking for strength, and don't steal, fight and more. You and the rest know how the situation is
Freedom of expression, yes. Of course.

Are you replying to the wrong person... or are you just putting Pete on the stand to answer for the crimes of all Americans?

Wow I have no clue what he was ranting about. I went straight down the middle, both sides are too extreme, special interest groups are only asking for their special rights, news and talk are polarized and feeding people one sided information, from their limited fairness, and suddenly? I'm not going to answer, it's impossible to make sense of what he wrote. I think there's some kind of translation issue or language barrier going on.

Happy New Year everyone, lets hope for a better 2021.

A good thing about royaties cut: We upload less stuff and can talk about politics here. In fact I'm thinking in stop uploading to all agencies. With the pictures I have now I can buy some equipment every year, I hope.

Happy new year and stay safe. The 3rd wave in Europe is scaring.

If Jon Oringer of Shutterstock (https://www.Shutterstock.com) donated his annual salary of $4,598,580 to image creators who produce the products Shutterstock licenses, and divided it among creators based on the number of images licensed, how would that benefit image creators?
AND YOU CREATORS ARE STILL UPLOADING YOUR WORK you must be joking, no employee is worth nearly 4.5 million dollars.

Wow that are really laughing all the way to the Bahamas.

Come On you lot wake up!!!!!!!!!!!

Im really loving my $4 sales days now.

If I have one day like that, not including ELs or a big OD, I'll write.

Meanwhile, I've got my camera and I'm riding the fast lane, on the road to riches.

We're off!

100% correct.

Well their time has come, in the White House, soon enough and in control of the Senate.

USA Today: Democratic wins in Georgia Senate races could mean more stimulus checks, small boost to Biden's economic plan.
Washington Post: Black voters powered Democrats to victory...

Now here's the truth: "Perdue reports that his biggest contributions have come from two major private employers in Georgia: Delta and Home Depot. Ossoffs largest sources of funding during the runoff campaign, meanwhile, have been employees at major, California-based tech companies: Google, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, and Facebook." Good that CA supports Ossoff with millions of dollars. I mean all those people loving big tech companies. Especially the ones that have turned you and your personal information into a mining source for more profits.

Yeah baby, uprising, power to the people, except it's the people of California with almost double the money contributed to the lefty party candidate in Georgia? You know the humble, down to Earth, Regular Joe Biden. Joes friends in the media and in Silicon Valley still have his back, along with the Chinese.

I'm willing to let the Socialists Democrats have their turn in power, and hope for the best. Bitter losers are just obnoxious and Trump has turned out to be the worst ever. Hit the bricks little orange megalomaniac. You've been exposed and now your own party doesn't want anything to do with you.

Here's to Joe and Kamala, more of that is for her. Heck, we could have the first Female / Minority President if any minor event like Joe is playing with a dog again... The phantom is kind of fragile I guess?  ;D

If the Republicans wanted to win, they should have had a candidate that didn't offend, scare and threaten, half the population of the country.

Where do people get these crazy ideas. Like Oringer should just become a personal contributor charity. He's not Santa Claus. Sorry to say this, but there isn't any Santa Claus. Grow Up.

Uncle Pete!!  I read another type of analysis!  the people, Calif and corps supported the Dems mainly because they can control the easily led Democrats, all it takes is a bit of money and they are quite gullible. Sillicon valley alone will eat them alive! Biden is probably just a front figure and old and decrepid.
Forget Trump!  but the Republicans in general already have the money and the huge war-machine behind them.

Where did you read this analysis? By the sounds of it, it was in amongst articles on flat Earth, Bill Gates wanting to destroy the universe and the world being run by lizard people who want to eat our children.

I'm lost. Are you commenting that a person who is on the left or extreme left, like me, because there is no more left, peaceful and non-violent, someone from the maximum European left like me, should I give away the money if I win it? That I should live in a cardboard house? And have an old car?

I think that the concepts of the old Berlin wall must be overcome. It is, a kind of trauma phobia that haunts you. A real panic to the leftists or communists. Is incredible.

It reminds me of the oriental phobia, after the attack on Pearl Harbor. I think being a communist is my identity. If you think it is a disease, I clarify, I do not feel bad about being from the maximum left in Europe. Not radical or violent.

And if there was something that is defined further to the left, I would be there. I love the north pole, polar bears and life. I love, respect for everyone except the extreme right. I don't consider them human, they only bring tears, sadness and blood.

No, I don't give my money away. Nor am I against piling up money.

Everything is made by history, apparently the fascists killed him for being gay, the best poet in all of history. He is my beacon. I love poetry and the real human being.

Being an anti fascist is the most honest thing that makes life great. What is not normal is to be a fascist.

I'm considering trying the hallucinogenic mushrooms, to see if the brain will mature one of these days. Interesting business this microstock, yes. Regards.

I am at a professional level, since I entered and entered late, I have seen that there are plenty of intermediaries. Joining does not mean that we love each other, we will unite to sell in groups.

Out of tune for someone who's so politically correct and sensitive. They are not Oriental or rugs, they are Asian. Wow how could a flaming liberal miss that?  ;D

Oh never mind this is the "why I hate" Shutterstock section, my mistake.

money=influence

I have no doubt any big company that feels one side or the other will help them do business and make more money would jump sides (or play both) in a heartbeat. We just saw it with the social media companies these last few days.

As far as socialism goes, as I requoted to a friend, its a generational thing. People my age (or older) think Soviet Russia, Cuba, etc when socialism is discussed. The younger generations hear socialism and think "free healthcare, canada, Norway, etc.."

Its just a word. Its how its applied that matters.

Interesting the last two posts. Totally true. Thanks friends.

Concepts, exactly. Also education, context, culture, customs, ........ many nuances.

Hola  Uncle Pete, saludos. You made me laugh, thank you. Orient belongs to the Orientals, the word Orient is ours.

It is related to Latin, and therefore, to the Spanish language.

Look, even if you don't understand Spanish at all, how language adaptations change. Spanish has nuances that are very difficult to adapt. Therefore, people who speak Spanish as a second language prefer it when they are angry, because it offers more alternatives.

It is for orientation, compass point, to know where you are. East and west, where the sun rises and where it sets. Of course that depends on the perspective and location, location. Oriental is from the Orient. Eastern Countries, Middle East, The Magi of the East.

East
Oriental
Oriental

Oriente
Oriental
Orientales

However, the East and the West are relative in addition to the physical position of the interlocutor, due to the 23.5 inclination of the earth and the rotation around the sun, it is all relative and more to the speed we move and pressure changes It also affects that the sun rises every day where it comes out of the eggs. And also the concept of getting out of the sun is also relative.

However, it's not about what you say, but how you say it. I have no problem with Asia or with eastern or eastern countries, or with its people.

I have learned something else with your words. Regards.

Even the Wiki does not write the same depending on the language, it interprets and adapts the terms, concepts and words.

Here you can see how Oriente changes from Spanish to English.

Real simple, Asians don't like being called Orientals, just like Blacks don't like being called Negros and Latinos don't like being call Mexicans. Native American's unless that changed again to indigenous people or something else, are NOT Indians.

I don't make these up, that's just the way the world is right now. So tune in and adjust please.

Even Obama says so?

2016 It is now politically incorrect to use the word Oriental, and the admonition has the force of law: President Obama recently signed a bill prohibiting use of the term in all federal documents. Rep. Grace Meng, the New York congresswoman who sponsored the legislation, exulted that at long last this insulting and outdated term will be gone for good.

Personally I've never heard the term used as an insult, so once again, someone just had to get upset and create some issue, where nothing serious existed?

People are too easily offended. As I am none of the above, that I know of and until I take that DNA test, I have no real concerns personally. Although I guess being a Saxon is a bad thing in Romania and Hungary, darn? I'm still not concerned or offended.

So please, it's Asian not Oriental.

Well spoken Pete!

Thanks, I was just trying to get to the facts instead of a futile debate.  8)

I might be a little biased, these were my extended family nieces. I was their Uncle Budi

Which could have been a compliment or meant in "Hinglish"  ...derogatory, an old woman. One never knows with a sense of humor and a huge language difference. No matter I was often designated to watch over and protect them. All grown up, married or moved away now.

You want to impose your way of thinking on the rest of the planet. Is not correct.

For me, the end of the debate, being on the left has nothing to do with naming the Orientals, with oriental features, as something derogatory or an insult. It is simply a description and a geographical location point accepted and understood by the entire international community.

In the USA I am black. As you will understand, for me personally, I do not believe any trauma that Americans consider black Spaniards.

The Orientals are Orientals. Say USA what you say.

And furthermore, our society does not insult any race, by conviction, furthermore, it is a Crime, assimilated and accepted by all. Nobody in Spain thinks of insulting any race. It is, something we all reject.
