Whenever I upload to shutterstock I feel like some images are getting lost in a black hole.

If I 'time' it wrong and process some images while others have yet to show up, do images get lost in the process? In my case, its as though they never show up for editing.

Vectors are never successful either unless I use the browser.

I only ever upload small batches of photos but find sometimes it rejects (cant upload)  some for no apparent reason.....I just reupload them once it took three attempts for one image

Using FTP? Sometimes, I'm experiencing the same.

I lose images all the time on their uploader and I cannot get anything uploaded video wise on FTP. It keeps crashing. Very frustrating.

It always takes me repeated attempts to get a batch of ten or so illustrations up.

I usually lose the first jpg I upload. Sometimes the system gets a bee in its bonnet and won't accept something no matter how many times you try. I pay attention and upload a second time. It is annoying.

I do web uploads in batches of no more than 10. Often, one or two images fail the upload. I try again, they fail again. I have never been able to figure out why. I upload them to other sites, never a problem Sometimes, using photoshops' "save for the web", then having to load the metaflies again, does help. But I've gotten to a point that I don't feel any picture is worth of my time after the upload phase so I often just ignore the failure and upload those to other places.

I have had the same feeling some time ago. For this reason I have stopped to use their ftp server and I only use the site uploader.

Interesting.  I have the opposite problem.  Site uploader loses images so I use FTP, which doesn't lose images.

Good to know.
I will try again to use ftp to see what happens now.

I only use FTP for uploading & have noticed the same: some random images (occasionaly, not that much) disappear in the process. Personally, I find it much easier to use FTP, so i dont bother with the site uploader.
