I was worried about not making a payout for the first time in five years and this past week was pretty awesome. Finally!

For what it's worth, it's not about you and I anymore, it's about the shareholders... The company I work for is a multimillion dollar business and has roughly 3000 employees, and the owner refuses to go public for which I'm glad. He believes our product will and has allowed us to expand across the country without public funding. We even got raises when the economy was in the dumper. Wasn't much but was greatly appreciated. The bottom line is, if the product is good (as contributors we know our product is good) people will buy it. Just sayin'...

Shutterstock.com / Re: Shutterstock sales is sinking deeply...« on: February 24, 2015, 13:08 »going back to topic, has anyone seen any chg to the sales in the last week or even the last couple of days??? almost 6 days left and it looks like sales dried up with the email eff-up. ask me i think IT eff-up also has the client side buying out of whack too. how else do you explain why sales suddenly dry up???I have to agree. Seems like the image DB may have been corrupted and the index needs to rebuild from backup or the SE was knocked out of alignment and for what it's worth they're not going to say of course. No OD's in two weeks either, what's up with that? 55

This is getting pretty sad. One sub so far today and no OD's in 12 days! Still haven't reach a payout level this month so far and only five days left. This could be the first time in five years that I didn't reach a payout. Terrible!

My D/L's have been pitiful since last Thursday...things don't pick up soon, I may not make a payout for the first time in 6 years. I usually reach payout before the 10th of the month, this is awful.

Yes, I have. I called their support and they said I have to email them a copy of my Passport or Drivers License to "[email protected]" to verify my identity. Strange, when you call their 800 support number they don't answer, but after 10 minutes or so they call you back from a different number and tell you to send your ID to "Vicky". Just doesn't sound like a very secure way to ask for your identity.

It won't let me "refresh" after a reinstall. Every time I select it it asked for my apple password i put it in and nothing happens.

I use MPix.com . Good prices and even better quality. They usually ship the next day. Shipping very reasonable. Send for their free samples. For 4X6's I just use the drug stores or Walmart.

General Stock Discussion / Re: any compact camera good enough for stock« on: August 19, 2013, 17:10 »
My wife and I went on our first cruise in April this year. I didn't want to bring my heavy Nikon D300 for fear of theft/damage and the salt air etc. I did see a few people with their heavy DSLR's taking snaps at the pool which made me feel glad that I picked up a Canon G15. I did a lot of research and found it to be the best buy for the money and compactness even though I've been a Nikon guy since the earlier 70's. I get very few rejects. It is now my "walk-around" camera, and it slips into my pocket with ease. The D300 is still my pride and joy, at least until I upgrade though.

Had better sales over the past weekend then I did the past two days. Too much search tweaking in my opinion. I never thought of this but it could be the reason for the rollercoaster effect. 73
