Strange, I had an image that sold last Thursday for 4 credits (medium) and I earned $1.11, and today it sold again for 4 credits (medium) and I earned $1.16. Is there escalations or is this a fluke? jp

What is the deal at 123 with the high rejection rate again...I slowed down uploading there because they were so far behind in reviews again. I had images waiting since 4/10 (almost a month). Although I only had 26 images waiting, they rejected 24 all for "Poor Lighting/Composition ". They were all accepted (except 2) at the top guns.
Funny thing is, 123 approved the 2 images the big guys rejected. I have to say I wasn't real crazy about them but submitted them anyway. I get a strong feeling they are trying to clear their pending queue....at what cost...
Hi Jcpjr,
Could you please kindly forward us your account information to [email protected] so that we can proceed to investigate the issues further?
Thank you for your kind assistance
Regards Anglee
With all fairness to 123rf and Anglee, the above mentioned images were re-evaluated. Roughtly 40% were changed to "Accepted" and an explanation that they are concerned of possible copyright issues...some of my images were of a commercial building without a property release. A step in the right direction....thanks 123...jp

I picked up around $10.00 in my account yesterday and they're not in my D/L list. I think it is from the "Partner" sites and I never know the details.

I wouldn't want to be in their IT dept right now. This has got to be a serious hit to their bottom line.

I do the same thing. I use one domain name email account as a "dump all" with a prefix based on the site I am emailing. I received an email today from the Chrysler/Jeep site using the prefix "Sirius". It was the email account I set up with sirius radio 3 years ago. It tells me where the spam is coming from and who to block. Rat B's!

Thanks Alex. I just sent an email to "submit" concerning a few errors I was seeing prior to reading your entry here. I'm a Data Security Sys-administrator and do understand the growing pains issues. Good luck to you and your team. Thanks...jp

Funny this should be brought up again. I emailed a notice to them that on March 23rd I had 2 d/l's (1 sub and 1 web per the download page) and was paid for the sub only. I haven't heard back from them yet. The earnings page reported the 1 dl and the download page showed 2. I really like their new site but wish they would now take care of the reporting. I don't mind not being paid for 1 image if that's where the error is....I just want to know which one is correct....jp

I joined SS in Dec. 2005. My first batch was rejected and I had to wait 90 days to retry. (That's the way it was back then) Got in on the second go-around. Since then I've seen the acceptance standard slowly rise.
It seems that every time I mention that I shoot MS and get paid, friends/family want to jump on with their P&S and phone camera images. I'm sure the sites get a huge amount of this kind of stuff and this has a lot to do with weeding out the less serious photographers.
If you're serious, and I'm sure you are, keep trying. It's not all about the money. I get a really good feeling every time my stuff gets accepted even now after 5 years...very gratifying....jp

You are right. My last batch was accepted 100% at the big 4 but 123rf refused 3 of them.
Unusual for them...

Maybe this is an isolated case. Just checked my last several months of uploads and I've had 1 rejection out of about 150 submissions. Slightly better success rate than I'm having at most the other sites... I've always had the impression that 123's standards are a bit looser than the others.
Hope you're right about "isolated case". I had 5 small batches pending for awhile and all were reviewed together with 4 of the 5 rejected...several images were rejected needing PR's for exterior of a hospital that was unidentifiable. Normally I have had a high acceptance there.

What's with all the rejections lately at 123. I swear they're getting as bad as FT. The sad part of it is (for them), what they reject has been accepted by the "Big Boys" and selling well. Almost all of the reasons are "poor lighting or composition". I thing someone needs to calibrate their monitor....of course that's just my opinion.....jp

I have to agree although, I'm waiting 'til the dust settles on the major MS players to decide exclusivity on not. There's a lot to consider the way things are moving at the moment...SS is blowing them all away for me with roughly the same amount of images at all the players. Hard to turn my back on the simple facts.

I thought I'd upload up a few images to Canstock after reading some of the post here and I have to tell you I am disappointed after a "first" attempt. I've been doing this since 2005 and know what is required. I uploaded 3 of my recent images that have been selling very well at the other major 4 and then I get this reply: "The images you submitted are not high enough quality to be approved for sale. Stock Photography buyers expect to receive a professional quality, flawless image. There are several problems that we typically see that are apparent in your images: image noise, exposure problems, imprecise focus." Hello? ...I asked to have my account closed.

I'm now -$1.11...heading in the right direction I guess, unless when I hit $0.00 it goes back in the negative...confusing but I have hopes for a correction soon....we'll see.

A bit strange...I have been in the negative there for several months now with decreasing negative amounts with each buyer D/L. I was around -$25 about a month ago and now it's -$2.87. I reported it to them when it first started and received an email about a week ago asking if my balance was still in the negative. I emailed them back saying yes it was still negative and have not heard a word since...
