If it were only photos it might be somewhere close to BigStock or CanStockPhoto, I think. Even sound effects are making better than photos in P5 I believe. Mine is around %5.

I am (probably) the record holder; mid November! It seems they are busy because of the upcoming "subscription" thing.

There is a daily limit as far as I remember.

I started there on last October. I had 1 sale on November and nothing since then. Good to hear that it is still alive!

123 has been problematic also in terms of synchronisation for a very long time.
My records, the number of my files I see on their history page (accepted) and the number of files in my portfolio page never match.

This month I sold 2 videos for 23.70. Just fyi...

I have never uploaded there, so I don't know what was the royalty before move. But I think even with zero tax it seems it doesn't worth the effort. 8 $ for HD! Huh...

So my unsold (lets say) 300 videos will bring me 150 $ per month. Right? 🙄

They can/should create some short cuts. For example they can let in content from some contributors who has good reputation in terms of quality, or they can create a fast track service for the value creating providers. If I buy business class ticket, the airliner company makes my checkin process faster at the airport. Same logic.

"Average review time" info just jumped from 3 weeks to "OVER 2 months".
I have been waiting more than 2 months. Not good for the contributor >>> also not good for the Agency. They couldn't present "new" content to the customers during christmas time. Most of the content have still been waiting for curating?

I downloaded my own video from 123RF to check if there was any change in the original video I uploaded. No change except the file name. Same format (MOV/PJPEG) same file size.
BTW in the last couple of months I see a remarkable increase in video sales in Fotolia. I hope it continues..

SS, 550 files, 2 sales this month so far P5, 450 files, no sales this month VB, 250 files, first and last sale was on November. Nothing since then.

Both will be manual focus on D3300.
By the way 35-70 might not cope with the new cameras sensor resolution. Results may be soft eith this lens on both camera.
Just fyi: http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/10-worst.htm
Will it be difficult and annoying for me to focus manually or ill get use to it fast?

I have D5300 and Nikkor 50 1.8, Tokina 12-24 and Sigma 105 macro. Those 3 lenses are not autofocus in front of 5300. If I am shooting still subjects + on the tripod, with the help of the focus magnification tool on the LCD (in live view mode) it is no problem. But for moving subjects, handheld shots they are almost unusable for me. Not easy to determine the focused area without using LCD.

A) 50p, maybe 25p for low light situations (never use 50i, it is old. Some agencies even don't accept it) B) 30 sec (Shoot at least 30, send around 15-20) C) PhotoJPEG (Evey agency accept it and said to be the highest quality) D) Yes (I use it Photoshop Premiere Elements for it. But you should use it max %3 to keep the quality.)

Dreamstime should increase their prices for video. Also levels system doesn't work for footages as it does for photos. Check the image for the current royalty scheme.

On the other hand, being not able to sell anything until the new ID verification, doesn't seem true to me. Why they would limit P5's sale potential for such a reason?

I did this several months ago. Since I login almost everyday naturally I noticed maybe in the very first day. At that time it took ~1 week. They didn't accept my national id (not US) at my first attemp then I sent them photo of my passport in the second round.
About the necessity of P5 sending emails to users, you are a hundred percent right.

If I were you, I would start wlth footages. Photography market is oversaturated. Invest your time on learning video.

Lets assume that you are determined enough to submit (that clicks almost for every keyword) 100 per hour, 10 hours a day, it will cost you one full month, couple of mouses, an aching finger, lots of depression. I wouldn't.

Which one you mean?
Real Editorial (Newsworthy. Events, celebrities etc) Fake Editorial (General imagery you couldn't get release. Like crowds, shops etc)
I send the fake one to Shutterstock, Dreamstime and 123RF. Alamy is just a waste of time for me.

Nowadays 1-2 weeks. But it used to be 2-4 days. Probably because of holidays.
