I agree with Steve. I submit everything to alamy RF. I know there is a moral debate about pricing, but I'm of the mind that people who are buying at alamy, aren't necessarily looking at the rest of micro and price shopping. I know if I buy something at one store and find it cheaper at another, I don't get mad at the store or vendor, I'm more annoyed at myself for not shopping better. Weak comparison, but it's early for me.

This is exactly why we need to know who our agencies partner with. There are plenty who have this confidentiality thing and won't report who they partner with. Ridiculous. We are the ones that have to keep track and make sure that our images are correctly monitored and we don't get screwed. Another award winning example right here.

Bob, I'm with you. Keep it fun. When it feels like "work" then you will lose the passion. Nothing wrong with mediocrity!

Wow Joann! Congratulations (?). I value you opinions on this forum and look forward to reading your trip back to independence. Must have been a very difficult decision for you.

123rf was a partner, but as far as I know, are no longer. You have to request directly from 123rf to have the images removed. I did so about a month ago, but they are still there.

Cool. I've heard, (through my 10 year old daughter who is full of strange information) that raindrops actually look like upside down tears, with the smaller end at the bottom.
Anyway, this is a great shot of the drops.

That is very cool. Looks like little bubbles. How did you keep your equipment from getting wet?

In my humble opinion, I would give Alamy a shot. I have about 200 pics there and just made my first sale. Very nice Monday surprise.
Do what feels comfortable for you and your pace. Your shots are amazing.

I'm not being hostile. I offered to help with the funding, not pay for the whole * thing. You did not make clear in you initial asking that you only wanted the elite to participate. That is very, very clear now.
You jumped on my for agreeing with someones statement. Fine. I wanted to make where my position was coming from. Fine. I'm still the one offended that you couldn't even send a simple email reply. You only know who I am through here. Don't judge what you don't know lest you burn bridges.
What does having 4 ignore me have to do with the price of ducks? I for one do not go around checking peoples profiles to deem whether their comments are worthy or not. It's childish.

Wait a minute. I sent you a PM acknowledging my small port, but also offering to help fund the site and services to help out. Sorry my port seemed to offend you, an email back with a thanks or no thanks would have been nice though instead of just ignoring. That is rude, and to attack people who are just starting is also uncalled for.
Good luck to you

What a wonderful story. I had a duck too. An orphan from a storm. ^We lived in an apartment so after a couple of months ^We found a farm with a lake to take him. Quackers. Thanks for the reminder.

Adobe has been overpriced for eons. Simply, lack of actual competition. All printers, at least the ones I deal with, are all Adobe. Yes, you can make a PDF (again, Adobe), but once in a while there is a glitch and the printer has to go into the native file. Lack of actual design software competition lets them set the price. So, designers keep grumbling, and keep paying.

I love these threads. Lager, I'm in love with your dogs! Chubby cheek babies are very squishable and ^We all spin our wheels and sometimes, once in a while get somewhere.
I love getting to know little things about the people here. Although, most of us will never meet, it definitely satisfies my water cooler needs!
