Many talk about selling AI images. For private use ist o.k. but not for the purpose of making money on other peoples intellectual property.
I will never use AI. Anybody else on this forum? If I would do so, I am no longer myself but a thief.

Regarding Raya Pro, ADP Lumiflow, Lumi32, Lumenzia and so on: who of the professional Microstock photographers is using these Photoshop panels, which are very time consuming. Is it worth to play around with luminosity masks? considering the 10 Cents per sale.
Do On1, Lumenzia, Dx0 plugins and so on the same job, but much faster?

So far I am better off with the new price structure of SS, in spite of many 10 to 17 cent sales.
Why should I boycot SS or even close my account? Why not accepting the 10 cent sales? I do, and I dont care what will happen next year, because nobody can forsee the future.

I will not boycot SS.
We are hitting a global economic crisis, worse than the Great Depression.
I accept, that the value of my images may drop to 10 cents.
Right now my earnings did not change. I am level 5.

I love Shutterstock. Is there anybody else who appreciate the service of SS? after reading all these hateful comments, I wonder. SS is part of my daily bread, for me and my family.

There is a group of people in this forum, who comment every topic every blessed day. Why would anybody spent this much time for nothing, especially those who continuously talk about their dropping sales.

There must be some contributors around in this forum, who are succussful in their microstock business, who are winners, inspite of all the present problems, which we all know in million of details. I want to get inspired, and I want to learn from the peak performers. Are they in this forum at all? I am tired to read through all the comments from the losers in this business. Where are the winners?

I am a happy Contributor and I got two simple reasons for that:
First: My income and wellbeing totally depends on illustrations. Compare it with a physically disabled person who totally depends on his wheelchair to move from one place to another.
Second: I am a creativity junky, I am an addict. If I dont create something new continually, I feel like being dried out like an alcoholic. I feel bad. I accept the challenge, that I have to compete with a million contributors out there. I must activate all my brain cells to be better, day by day. This is just like with any other business.
Are there more junkies out there?

How many years does it take for a microstocker to run into a burn-out syndrom? And how to overcome it? To take a break? For how long?
How to overcome a creativity block?
Any experience?

A good portfolio makes good money, a bad portfolio goes empty. A bad portfolio means out-dated images which do not meet the demand of the market. The consequence would be, produce better images or leave the business and not to waste valuable time with complaints, petitions or weird accusations.

What are the most worthless Sites? Which agencies are just a pain in the butt?

Every photo, every illustration has a certain expiry date or call it life span. A photo with the most beautiful girl in the world with a cell phone in her hands, which is a couple of years old becomes soon or later worthless. Or think about the fast moving fashion trend, the shoes, the hair style! Every woman knows very well how outdated the outfit of a model is. Or think about the kitchen equipment if you shoot culinary photos. How many photo will resist the revegas of time. If you do not keep up with the times you are out. This is one reason, why photos or illustrations suddenly do not sell anymore. Is this the reason why the old folks on this forum complain all the time? because they are simple out of date?
