Hello,
I've started uploading photos to SS. The first batch was approved within 24 hours, but the second batch has been pending review for 20 days.
Are you experiencing similar delays? SS typically approves my videos within 5 days.
Thanks
Daniel

Hello,
Today, I noticed that one of my 1,600+ videos eligible for the free collection has been accepted, and I received $8 for that video.
However, all eligible videos are still marked as "IN REVIEW."
Based on your previous experience, does the approval process occur all at once, or can it take an extended period of time?
Since the other eligible videos are still "IN REVIEW," I assume more videos may be accepted into the free collection in the coming days or weeks. Am I correct in this assumption?
Thank you!

Hello,
Does Adobe train on all its content uploaded to its marketplace?
If yes, is there a way to opt out?
Thanks

Hello,
Are there any other Artgrid contributors active on this forum? I know that Everest is an Artgrid contributor. I was wondering if there are others who are also present on this forum.
Thanks,
Daniel

Hi, I wanted to share an unfortunate incident that happened with my content. After uploading some of my videos to Artlist, I discovered that someone had uploaded some of them on Shutterstock. I have already reported the issue to Shutterstock and requested them to remove my clips. The thief has a portfolio of 4,573 stolen clips at https://www.shutterstock.com/g/bismil048/video?q.I am dismayed that this has happened to me, especially since I had only uploaded around 50 clips to Artlist. It is alarming how rampant this practice of content theft is on the platform. I wanted to ask if anyone has any experience with this kind of situation. Does anyone know if Shutterstock will only remove the clips I reported, or if they will also shut down the fraudulent account? I hope that Shutterstock takes immediate action to shut down accounts involved in such practices, considering the hard work that goes into creating quality content. Daniel

Hello,
I am hoping to get some help with understanding how to read the poll results. I am confused about what the y-axis represents since it is not labelled. This month, the value of the y-axis ranges from 0 to about 115, and the data we submitted for this poll is dollars earned per stock agency. I am having difficulty understanding the graph and would appreciate any help in explaining it.
Thank you, Daniel

Hi,
I posted the same question on discord. However, since some of you may know the answer, and are not active on discord, I thought I would post the same enquiry on this forum.
I submitted some video clips featuring a model yesterday, and I attached the correct model release to all the clips. Today, I am attempting to upload more clips with the same model but I am unable to locate the model release in the list of releases in the submission section. The previous clips are still under review. Although I can see the model release in the "Releases" section of my dashboard, there is no toggle button visible under the "visible" column. Could someone please help me understand what this means? The model is 11 years old and one of their parents has signed the release.
I've attached a screenshot.
Thank you!

Hello,
I recently applied to become a video contributor for Artlist and Storyblocks. Yesterday, I received approval from Artlist. These agencies are known for being the best earners for Everest (Artlist) and odesigns (Storyblocks).
Furthermore, they also have a high rejection rate for new applicants. So, I see this as a great opportunity. But, I am worried that my content might be susceptible to download and misuse by thieves. For anyone who has contributed to either of these sites, how have you dealt with this? Is this a cause for concern, or am I just being overly cautious?
I shoot niche content that is underrepresented on most stock agencies. By uploading to Artlist, will I lose sales on other platforms like AS, SS, and Pond5, where I presently also upload?
What else should I keep in mind as an Artlist video contributor?
If you have contributed to either of these sites, please share your experience with me. I would appreciate your advice and suggestions. If you have not contributed to either of these sites, please abstain from commenting. I acknowledge that everyone has strong opinions about these sites. However, opinions based on experience are more valuable than those based on assumptions.
Thank you
Best regards,
Daniel

Hello,
I recently uploaded some wildlife footage with sound to SS, AS, and Pond5. However, after my uploads were approved, I noticed that all the footage had lost their sound. The sound was relevant and of high quality.
I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue before and if there's any solution to it.
Thank you,
Daniel

Hi there,
I upload to SS, AS, and Pond5 regularly. I'm considering uploading to iStock, which I mentioned in a separate thread.
I'm also curious about Alamy and would love to hear from experienced video stock contributors.
Thanks,
Daniel

I am a stock video contributor. I upload my videos to Shutterstock, Adobe Stock, and Pond5.
However, I have not yet uploaded any videos to iStock.
I wonder if not uploading to iStock could result in missing out on potential earnings.
If you were in my position, would you upload your portfolio of videos to iStock?
I often hear that the submission process is tedious. What is specifically complicated about it? I have CSV files of all my metadata, will they be helpful?
Cheers,
Daniel

Hi everyone, Im thinking of uploading some of my future collections exclusively to Stocky (if they accept my application ). For long time contributors to that agency, is it worth it? Are you happy with your earnings? Regards, Daniel
