50% of producers saw a growth of their income over the last year and only a small group saw a decrease
Just keep in mind that it's within people who responded to the survey. So there's a small bias there anyway. Maybe, people, who saw largest declines, did not fill the survey. We never know what we don't know. But yes, it was unexpected for sure.

Please share the results here. I'm interested.
I will share them here. Expect them in mid-November, after the poll will be closed and I'll have time to analyze them.

Hey folks I was wondering how much time it would take to recreate the basic functionality of VisualMind/PhotoTag and it turns out that not so much! Here's what I did: https://xpiksapp.com/blog/build-ai-keyword-tool/I know some people on the forum created a custom ChatGPT agent (requires ChatGPT Pro subscription), but my way is only relying on API key which is super cheap. Has anybody done anything similar?

Are there any news regarding ftp uploads?
I hope I am still qualified?
If you see FTP credentials on Adobe portal when you press "Upload" (in "Learn more" link), then you're qualified. As to why your files don't appear - hard to know. Might be anything from a bug, to files being automatically rejected/deleted for any technical issues. Might be a good idea to ask Adobe support.

SFTP is not required for this.
FTP was the most convenient way for majority of the users. Matt, do you know what does it take to be "qualified"?

I see this when I click "Upload" button. Does it mean I'm qualified?
Yes, it means you are "qualified".

At Adobe, 8 of the first 10 best sellers are editorials. The same ratio applies to the other agencies.
This is kind of interesting, given that Adobe is way more restrictive on editorial categories, than, literally, all other agencies.

Does uploading to AdobeStock work for you?
Yes. If you have a problem, please contact support - this way we will get diagnostic logs and will be able to help.

Xpiks: They offer an auto-keywording plugin that seems quite efficient in generating relevant keywords for images.
Xpiks offers descriptions too, btw. In general, I always recommend to take the AI generated ones as a starting point. If you want to improve your sales, treat metadata seriously! It was discussed multiple times in Xpiks blog.

It is strongly adviced to NOT use fully same metadata for set. Yuri Arcurs in his interview advices to use only half of the keywords maximum to be the same, while the other half to be different, to increase coverage of search queries where you photo will rank

I only stayed for one (wix) and it works as a kind of presentation of who I am with some promotional videos showing the diversity of work i can do. In the videos I leave a link where you can buy those and other clips or 2d/3d animations.
Could you share your website? Where those links point to? Microstocks?

Hi folks Luisa Fumi (aka gameover) wrote an interesting story about her experience with self-hosting here: https://xpiksapp.com/blog/selling-images-on-your-website/Please let us know what do you think and maybe you also have a story to share? Will be definitely useful for others! Cheers, Taras

Yeah, all this off topic talk is making it much harder for you to farm us for content for your blog
Nah, I'm just disappointed to experience Godwin's law ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin%27s_law) again and again on the internet, even in threads that I start! P.S. You are free to compile responses from this thread to a blogpost of your own, if you think this is how it works and that it's so easy

Could you guys just stop the useless unrelated to this topic flood?
Focus on ChatGPT please.

I've never used it for keywording, but it has been a great sparring partner for me in learning Illustrator scripting, which I have used to make algorithmic-based stock vectors.
This is really cool! Can you share any "hello world" example what exactly did you do? All things aside (e.g. microstock, money etc.), it sounds just like quite a unique and fun thing to do! (you could send a DM, if you don't want to share publicly) P.S. I don't mean the code of any of your algorithm-based picture, but more of things that surround that, e.g. how did you create an illustrator plugin/script, what did you ask ChatGPT to help with exactly etc.

I have used it, and overall it's very difficult to get good consistent results - such that I've found doing it the "old school" way is much better. I now usually use from time to time just to "complement" my original workflow (but even then, debating its usefulness because of the extra time required to sort through crap). ... As of yet - for myself - I have not yet figured out an efficient way of getting consistent, useable information.
Thank you for your detailed response! This was largely my experience too. But still I was interested if anybody managed to make any use of it. By the way, did you use free version (GPT 3.5) or Pro (GPT-4)?

It's easy to ask all community than actually use a tool called search for it first isn't it?
Have you tried using your own tip? Did you find in search any results relevant to microstocks? I'm asking about a personal experience, relevant to microstocks. Not "how to use ChatGPT for photography".

I was wondering if anybody was seriously using ChatGPT for work (e.g. keywording, DCMA, anything else), related to microstocks. If so, what did you do and how did it work?
