Could not get payout, cannot delete portfolio and account. My email contact was Alex. Nothing but the run around and false excuses. This company is borderline fraudulent. Contributor side of website is not working

I'm an author, and I'm wondering if you guys know why it's so difficult to find non-white male models. There are hundreds of white models... but I'm having a heck of a time finding an african male model who fits with my story (mixed race, younger, handsome, serious.)
If you have any tips where to find that sort of stock, I'm open. I'm willing to pay more for the right image, but if I'm completely honest, really my budget dictates I only license images from sites like DepositPhotos. I've looked into getting custom shoots, or licensing photos from photographers, but I can't afford hundreds or thousands of dollars for a very limited use license.
So, in the end, I'm just wondering why non-white models are so difficult to find on microstock sites. All my author friends talk about this all the time. We'd be snapping up pics that feature non-white models and couples.
Several in my portfolio on Deposit Photos http://depositphotos.com/portfolio-1024641.html

I havent checked back but he is talking a lot, but not answering real concerns about watermarking etc. Nothing changed, they never address questions about changing stuff they have no interest in changing.
I dont care, it will not work anyways. Buyers can buy my images elsewhere. If people start reporting steady sales, I can easily opt in.
Excellent, knock it, don't support, don't care, have a negative attitude, but if it works - grab it and complain that he makes to much money on contributors

From the latest things he has written it is apparent that the EL is not an EL at all, it is RM. So people should be selling either RF or EL but not both. Very confusing. Also, he keeps referring to iStock as Getty. At least, when he says Getty I think he means iStock....
FAA Sean really doesn't understand half as much as he thinks he does - plus he's really dogmatic and defensive. Tough combination to have any sort of useful conversation with.
But you do realize that this guy built a multimillion Dollar company out of his garage?
And if he's not careful, he could lose it all in lawsuits.
I wish I could say that about myself

Well, it is almost a year old. Qtalk is geared to artists and collectors. We offer to promote your work for free. We do not charge members and do not get commission from POD sites. The idea is to combine all your POD and even stock items and promote it in one place. As of now, we have mostly FAA images, but are open to all. We have a searchable gallery, a small forum, many social media groups and pages and handpick uploaded work for promotions. I'm sure some of you will like it and others won't. We like to invite you to take a look, registration as anything else is free. We would love if you find it beneficial for you and make use of it. We read IPTC on gallery uploads and display the description, keywords and some camera settings. There is an approval queue for images, it usually takes 24 hours or less. Although not perfect, uploads are painless. What we are proud of is that you can link to many of your selling sites in the description. Follow this link http://qthecollection.com/qtalk/index.php?action=gallery;sa=view;id=15 and see how I link to FAA for purchasing a print, but also to Alamy for licensing the image. If you are interested, please view the FAQ in the forum, where many questions are answered. Rules are very lose, all we ask is that you keep it family friendly, respect copyrights and be fair. Uploads are unlimited. All images are right click protected and you are welcome to use your own watermark. Please give it a chance http://qthecollection.com/qtalk/index.php Please let me know what you think ........... All the best Gunter Nezhoda

No increase for me and unfortunately FAA terminated the deal with amazon.com. All my images except one are gone from amazon.com.
I think it was the other way around, Amazon got tired of the poor quality of some images coming from FAA and limited every account to 5 handpicked images. I and most people have 5 on Amazon now.

I'm not sure what to think, There's a guy who made it all the way to the top from scratch, produces the best "Merchandise" in our industry and everybody else is jealous and does not give credit were credit is due. This man became very successful with hard work and great strategies. What are we doing? - Checking his spelling? - very childish of us in my opinion.
I for my part would like to succeed and listen to people who have done it, not judge them.
There is no fairness in business and I don't expect it. I'm not waiting for Yuri to change my diapers. I'm not hoping that successful people hold back, turn around and offer their hand to me, so I can have a piece of the pie too. That's not how it works.
Great going Yuri, it does suck that you car is nicer than mine, but I know why, and you deserve it. Get it while you can!

Please browse this collection - 500 images - out of this worldhttp://fineartamerica.com/groups/q-collection.html?tab=overview
I make nothing on this, unless you would buy a photograph from me. I try to support and we mutual promote. Photographers for photographers. It's worth looking at those images.
Thank Leaf

They are gamed, but if you have a good image, there are only so many votes someone can solicit and people will actually vote on yours.
Just won one today http://fineartamerica.com/contests/the-cafe-or-coffee-shop.html?tab=leaderboard
Congrats! BTW, I looked at some of your images (from your post above); they look super and hopefully it's just a matter of time. I saw a pic come through as a large, matted, framed sale from someone I vaguely know of online, and that was its first sale after almost 3 years.
At least, I'm hoping it's just a matter of time. I don't suppose many people buy artwork on a whim - they probably have to involve the whole family in the decision.
Thanks for your kind words, I know it is not easy, takes a lot of promo work, but I have so many Stock images that I can doctor with and I really enjoy doing it, and mnay of those images would never be accepted in stock. People do buy art tough, it's a huge market, but you need more than a good image, your name and visibility matters too.
