VideoBlocks / Re: Storyblocks revenue collapse by 90%?

:o :o :o
I saw that video some time ago, must be content from a content farm, he is not sharing his user ID, weird numbers, always the same advice mostly pointing to take my course, most probably he is just the face for the content farm

I have a payout pending since last year but can't find any contributor support where I can contact them directly.

In general, I think it's the kind of stock agency where you upload what you like for any price (I've seen lots of crappy AI vids), and there appears to be no review process and goes directly for sale.

Hmm, not really big seller for me but sending to me every $1 if I made sell with them. Definitely no payment problems.

I tested about 1000 files for few months, not even a single sale, I do presume they do monkey business big time. Not even on the other system affiliate or something, came on

It was my fault, I put an incorrect paypal address and it's been trying to send every month but get's returned. But even though I've corrected it, I think their payment system has given up.

But it's crazy how hard they try NOT to allow direct communication with their contributors.

My ranking as of now is 1,220th with 9,808 photos in my Adobe Stock portfolio.  Last week was at about the same ranking too.  My lifetime ranking is around 1,600th.  So, I made a progress after adding 3,000 AI generated photos since last September or so.  I think many with higher ranking have a lot less photos/images on their portfolio than I do.
Not sure I understand how it work I have maybe 10K as well photos

I do this Microstock thing for 3 years now.
One observation, is getting harder and harder, the quality standards increase so much, well this is a good thing I guess, the rejections are higher, now seems DT wants to decrese the percentage for the contributors, FT did some crap some time ago, SS start taking on US sales 30% taxes........where all this will end up for the contributor ?
I wont start now complaining and praise the contributor, but I never saw anything good from all this changes, I just know I have more pictures, better quality, and the sales did not increse accordingly.
I think everybody should look from a  productivity point of view, at the end of the day it all thats matter and compare with 2008 that is way down.
Flip that $1 images is a tough market, and will get harder as the libraries increase databases, the agencies at leaset the big 6 will make money, the buyers are happy for the bargains they get, you will work your bumb off forever unless something changes.
I realised in todays market you can not make it alone, you need to get more people to work for you to do actually something.

This is way to long,

« on: August 27, 2006, 18:32 »
I really can not get it???
Why is slower to upload with Cute FTP,Filezilla etc????
You just chunk a folder open 5-20 sessions in the same time and let them go.
Why all the trouble with telnet?

when in the name of god you build a portfolio of 1700 pics:-)
I took all my pics about 200 down from Bigstock was not worth it.
I had a fight with one of the admins over a photo accepted on IS,DT,FT and making good money.
He was telling me the hotel room was copyrighted,I just get upset and close the account.
Not so wise after I uploded 200 pics but I am not sorry.
