I spent 20 euro but had no sales, I think I did wrong by making it a general link to my FAA account, I need to target specific search terms. Such as pointing towards my city galleries and stuff, nothing too general

Luis, I realised that for FAA you can mess around a bit with your images in photoshop and give them a more arty look. If you look at what is selling its most of the time photos that are heavily processed. Also, I think if you put your yellow petrol pump on a grey background (or another color) it has more potential rather then on white. You can also upload the pump several times with different backgrounds.

I agree, looking at the recent sold most are really heavily processed, tons of BW pictures also, thanks for your tip, will work on that!

thanks donding ;)

It would be interesting to know the average views per sale stats and if buyers usually buy straightaway or come back some time later.  I'm just starting with FAA and have been looking at other peoples sales.  It's a bit of an adjustment from microstock.

Congratulations Luis :)  I like the shot too.

Do let us know if you get any more sales... FAA is looking interesting to me too.

One thing about FAA...they have a very nice forum....unlike another "unnamed" forum...lol

I just recently joined and so far nothing has sold, but I have not marketed anything either. I want to get everything built up before I do that. The people in the forum are very helpful and very nice. It's a much more relaxed atmosphere.

Like Luis, I made a sale on FAA about 10 days after I uploaded with this picture of the Historic Florida State Capital Building for $30 for a rolled print.

I also am considering the paid account.
