So, what do I see. Lately, many files are not uploaded via FTP. Pond5 has disabled its support, now all requests go to shutterstock support, which does not respond....

you must be a victim of a vast conspiracy -- i've had no problem uploading, reviews in a day or so (>90% accepted) & support from pond answers my questions

Yes, pond support is no longer responding. Now probably only shutterstock support will respond, but how often and how effectively is unknown.
The people from pond support have been fired!

I'll wait and see, it could be you or you location.

I wrote to P5 support and received and answer from P5 support, Yesterday. But I still believe what you have posted, as SS is very likely to kill off any useful support for us, because it costs them more than "Experts" who work for likes.

Location doesn't matter anymore. Now questions can only be sent by email. This used to be a form where you could specify the continent.
I haven't received an answer, I've been waiting for several days. And the answer will definitely not be from the same people who answered before.

Just received the "Christmas good news" from pond5
Starting from january, non exclusive contributors will earn 30%, while exclusive 40%

Great, now that they have introduced the "standard" price, so it's quite useless to raise the price by ourselves

How to increase earnings for management? any new Ideas??

Adobe Stock: introduce free collection by paying fair amount to contributors and allowing them to opt in/out option, to attract more customers...

Shutterstock: That's all crap...Just buy as many microstock agencies as possible...Keep silent for one year...Then cut the royalties for contributors...Simple solution....

Absolutely. After the takeover p5 made zero written commitments that they will keep the 60%.

And always remember - even if the videoclips of the entire industry had been exclusive to pond5...the owners would still have sold and just gotten a lot more money...

There were a lot of people promoting a fantasy concept of how being exclusive with p5 protects their income...after the place was sold, it was over and everyone with a normal business mind knew the 60% where on borrowed time.

Wouldn't that be more logical?

Normal stuff as non exclusive for everywhere, but the top level stuff to a smaller place?

The video market is much smaller than photos. The top level people have a lot more pull.

I wouldn't get in, my stuff is too boring...

So I've been exclusive with P5 since 2020 when Shitterstock screwed us the first time. Up to this point it's been pretty good. However, I will no longer be exclusive with them after this latest announcement. The question is, where else do you upload to? How are sales and revenues on Adobe with video?

I am earning $600+ every month on adoy with 5000+ videos...and with same 5000+ files on pond 5 non exclusive, I am earning 0 when there were no sales, and $30-50 when I get ,1-2 sales...

I used to make $100-$200 dollars a month on pond5 3-4 years back... When I have just 500-1000 files...now it's in the 5th place out of 7 microstock sites that I contribute...

I hate to answer as people get personal about things like this. Facts are facts, I get responses from Pond5 and a real person, not the SS "Experts". December 9th

You can read my questions now?  ;D  Yes, my question was about their system, submission and reviews, Editorial and things that I do, so it wasn't technical "technically". The reply took a week. But in other instances, they have been faster and gave personal responses, not some boilerplate "expert" who probably knows less than you or I about how SS works, and then says, they will forward the question to someone else, which means two things: 1) It's going into a black hole and we'll never see an answer OR 2) It's going to the real SS assistance people. Where they will file it as #1 on their priority list. (see #1 here)
