I dont know how everybody else, but now when I see new sale on Envato Im not happy like before 2016. Im angry! Im angry becouse I know how much money Im loosing with every sale. All of this is of course becouse their move to US and introducing US Tax to ours (already low) royalties.

Here is Royalty structure for Non Exclusives (sale to US):
HD video priced $8. Envato gets: $5,12 You get: $0.96
4K video priced $25. Envato gets: $16, You get: $3

Im still watching and  waiting for their solution of this situation. If not, time will come to break this humiliation.

Pathetic low pricing is why I do not upload videos to Envato.

Wow
Their commissions to video artists are just disgusting!
I hope they tank and dissappear, just as any outfit that so grossly devalues work

I have never uploaded there, so I don't know what was the royalty before move. But I think even with zero tax it seems it doesn't worth the effort. 8 $ for HD! Huh...

Easy. Close your account. I did it time ago.

We are the guilty of microstock disaster.

That probably means Envato doesn't want non exclusive contributors. Totally unfair.

How has that time not come already?  Tolerating a site that is so much worse than others is damaging for all of us.  They've had over a year to go back to being an agency but they haven't done it because they are still getting supplied by contributors.  So they will probably keep making things worse for us and easier for them.  The only way out of this mess is if enough of us deactivate our portfolios, I did it a year ago.

Videohive's royalty rates have always been insulting. It's absolutely beyond me how anyone can justify to upload footage to them.

Me too. Worth doing. Stops the aggravation in its tracks.

It takes a lot for me to close an account. Envato seems to make it easy to decide to do it, though. They just keep piling up the reasons to leave.

They're a terrible company, and I personally think they're the bottom of the barrel in microstock these days with how they treat contributors.
