An emerging field that could bring us roll-up monitors among other things.  Interesting to think of having a studio where a whole ceiling or wall could provide the light.  It would be lovely to have lighter, more portable lights for outdoor adventures too.

Next step will be clothes.
I want a hat that can change colours and be used as a cellphone.

You beat me to it. I want a green and gold suit that flashes. (well maybe not, but you get the idea?)  :) The cap phone is out for me, I don't wear them. How about a shoe phone? Belt phone with a wrist display?

As for walls and ceiling, GE did make luminescent panel lights back in the 50s and 60s. Now too expensive. So when this stuff on plastic goes into full production, maybe it will be good for wall to wall lighting. That would be no shadows (making SS happy) and cool it a couple of ways, effect and heat.

Yeah, that's what I want, wall to wall soft lighting.

I haven't heard one thing in this video that wasn't already "announced" years ago by other companies (that may have gone out of business - wonder why).

Naturally, at some point in the future, we all will have that - as they say in the video, but nobody can tell when.

They keep your hopes up but nothing usable hits the market at this point except promises.
