Hi everyone! I'm new here.

I know I can't make threads yet until I make a post in someone else's thread. I did so yesterday and am still waiting on a mod to approve it. I suppose I'll now be waiting again for this post to be approved.  :P

Anyway, I'm new to both this site and to stock photography (and photography in general)! Wish me luck--because it's pretty overwhelming out there, haha.

I'm still a newbie but hopefully can post soon as this certainly looks to be far and away the best site for microstcok advice

How long do you normally have to wait before you can post?

Firstly, welcome to the forum.

If you want to connect to other new users, you can check out the *newbies only* forum area here
newbielink:http://www.microstockgroup.com/**newbies-only**/ [nonactive]

In regards to starting threads, members who are 'lurkers' (those who have less than one post) are not able to start new threads.  This is an effort to cut down on spambots.

Once you have made one post, your status is upgraded to 'Newbie' and you can start your own threads.

Also:  when you do start a new thread, please give the thread a descriptive subject.  If you are going to ask a question, put the question in the subject.  A thread that is titled 'a question for you' or 'I am having problems' is not helpful and will probably not get a very good response.  Instead try 'I am having problems with my ftp program Filezilla' or 'What is the best FTP software?'

Very Newby here - very UnNewby on stocks ;D all of them :) I've startred in 2009 and now want to say "hello" to everyone here  ;D

How long do you normally have to wait before you can post?

That would be a good information to add to the original post.

That would be a good information to add to the original post.

to create a new topic select "forum" at the top after "home" ,next to your username, then choose the section for the new topic, for example,"General-top sites" or "Adobe Stock",and then once in the dedicated section there will be the "new topic" button on the top.

"lurkers" members cannot start new threads,I don't remember if 1 or 10 posts are enough.

Took me a while to find this thread  :)
Simple and easy approach to combat spam - and it seems to work!
