hello all!

i think i'm ready to take the plunge here and start submitting applications; i've been drawing and creating graphic for the better part of 20 years, but recently stumbled onto the micro thing.

anyway, my question is this:

does your sign-up email address have to = your paypal email address?

i'd prefer to sign up with my code rad email address, but i only have my personal paypal right now which is linked to personal email.

so, can i sign up under one email address and specify a different one for payments?  or do they have to be the same?  i presume it's different for the different providers, i was going to start with SS and then work down the list so any insight is helpful!

cheers and thanks!

I suggest you carefully think about this.
which emails to use where.
How are they accessable.
What passwords.
What email recovers them all.

I suggest you make a structural diagram, and write thepassword down for your inheritants.

I know of no site that requires your contact e-mail or sign up e-mail to be the same as the PayPal e-mail.

Some sites make you enter the address each time you request a payout; some let you say which address to use for payouts and it's stored. You can also associate more than one e-mail address with a single PayPal account, so you can hang your stock site e-mail onto your existing account if you want to.

Do be sure to use a different password for each site and don't use your PayPal password for any of the site passwords. Once you have a balance, you don't want anyone else removing it for you :)

excellent thank you for the quick replies!

i seemed to recall a while ago that i signed up to some (unrelated site) under a different name and i had to go back and create a new one with my personal name but maybe i'm mis-remembering.

okay time to get signing up! i'm reasonably confident about my process and organization, here's hoping my images have some market appeal!

cheers

I have sites where they are the same and sites where they are different. On the ones where they are different, I have had them send the payment to the wrong email address. If this happens, you can add the wrong email address to your paypal account. I have done this after the payment was sent, and once I did this, the payment dropped in. Then, if you want to, you can remove the 2nd address.

hmm any Canadians out there?  they want me to upload ID but it says passport (don't have), driver's license (don't need) or national id (doesn't exist).  anyone know if they take provincial id's, ie BCID?
