Author Topic: filling in address' for release forms of homeless people? (Read 4248 times)

So I have generated a lot of images of homeless people. I have release forms signed by them, however they have no physical address and I know the agencies will reject the release forms unless they have all the given information required.

I need a way around this problem. Only ideas I have is to put in nearby homeless shelters or just bluntly lie and make up an address.

Any thoughts?

Personally, I'd write to the agencies and get their official guidelines for this before uploading.

I usually look up the nearest Homeless shelter on the internet and use that for an address. Also, don't forget to use the shelter's phone number. I've had releases rejected by DT for no phone number. When I asked them about this, they said the release had to have a phone number regardless of whether or not the person was homeless.

I've written the word "homeless" in releases with this situation and not had any issues. It's been several years however so things could have changed.

So we shoot people all the time, but when its about homeless people its not allowed to say that? And There is nothing weird about writing up the address of the street or alley where you had the photoshoot. Or do you ~~shoot~~ photograph homeless people in a 4 star hotel?
