OK....here we go. who is gonna submit to OnePixel, What do you think About Onepixel and the site and there Plan for the future. Dollar Photo club comes to Mind naturally because One of the Guys who supported it at FT is a good friend . Im just wondering what you guys think?. This place really doesn't have any weight as to what the majority will do But we should start a conversation as best as MSG can which is Pretty sketchy at times.
What do ya think. Im On the fence. a dollar a Image is pretty scary and the commission is ever scarier and they are Banking on Lots of sales with a Lower commission on what they call "The cream Of the crop" and using other sites attraction Of anyone with a camera submitting Crap which is true as there competition and there proposed EDGE..
Im gonna give them a shot. I've seen so much BS in 14+ years I can't even Keep up.

What do My Comrades think??? Can your work get approved to sell??

You would have to be mad, or a friend of the owners, or both.

DPC was unacceptable 3 years ago (when you posted almost the exact same message about that), when RPD was lower than it is now, and this new DPC is even more unacceptable now.

This "cream of the crop" stuff is transparently BS. They will take anyone that applies. It is just a cover for the small size of their library. "It's not small it's elite"

They are obviously not doing very well at attracting contributors if they have to get Rider to get them some free advertising on here. Probably better to just let such posts drop off the front page.

Honestly, it feels like Mr. Rinder might have some kind of stake in One Pixel. Otherwise I cannot understand why he subliminally is pushing to give them a try. Why isn't "the Chad" in here himself trying to sell his model? Is Mr. Rinder his proxy? Not trying to create any conspiracy but this just seems 180 degrees opposite of Mr. Rinder's past posts. So that tells me there "could" be alternative reasons for such a change of heart (or close to it anyway).

Dude, sorry but I have to stop you embarrassing yourself on this one. It is actually super sad that you've bought this up so many times already to big yourself up over.

The answer is literally yes, me. And I was outside the top 100 contributors on Fotolia at the time, so there's 100+ people he was calling before me and clearly several more before he got to you.

Anyone who was selling any volume at the time got those emails and phone calls. Chad was running round like a headless chicken ringing everyone when DPC blew up. There are at least several dozen people reading your posts feeling kinda bad for you on this so I thought someone should point it out. Hence my earlier comment, to paraphrase "if you've never spoken to Chad in person, do so before going into any business he's involved in". In my experience he can't even convincingly fake giving a flying F about contributors and their work when you speak to him.

If I had to make a list of people who have had contributor's backs you wouldn't feature on it, and I've got no idea why you think you would? Jo Ann Snover and Sean Locke would be up top for me, don't feel the need to "show you" so you can just search yourself if you like?

Anyway, bye again, see you in a few days when you realise your ego can't survive without this or the the SS forum (which you also periodically leave and return to). Don't let the door hit you in the A on the way out.
