That is the big nut to crack.

Invest heavily in Google AddWords. We have found your site. let others do the same via google. 

Let me put it this way: everyone wants things to happen RIGHT BLOODY NOW !

Which, to me at least, is quite unreasonable. I have joined MP about 6 weeks ago. Put about 120 pics there (more is coming). Got two sales and the first payout of $40. Had some jerks rating low or high on my pics - just blocked them, as my pics do not deserve neither 1 nor 10. No biggie.

It takes some time to build a site which can reliably sell pics. So far I am happy - partly because I do not expect quick results.

What I like:

1) Non-standard approach to the site form and shape

2) Decent pricing. Maybe it will have to be dropped a bit to attract more customers, maybe not - I do not care at this stage.

3) Folks at MP are trying hard - and I am willing to give them at least a year. It is easy to shoot a (good) image, upload it somewhere, and expect riches. It is much more difficult to make a business website work - so I will wait.

4) Folks there are responsive and on the ball.

5) Easy upload, easy contact, open to suggestions, trying hard to improve anything that needs improving (and sometimes things that do not need that too  )

6) Overall - a bloody good start, good concept, good approach to most things.

So - I will wait and upload as many pics as I can, even if nothing sells for months. Right now they need images - preferably good images, in any quantities. I am trying to do my bit - because a success of a site like this does happen only if the contributors ACTUALLY CONTRIBUTE !

So - contribute ! If you do and nothing works for a long time - then you may have grounds for complaining. Right now - you don't.
