I hope we can opt out. Every company that I've worked with that does something like this ends up eating up my money - from an annual fee on the card, to the fact that I can't withdraw any of it in less than $20 intervals from a cash machine. If my payout is $103.42 then I want it all, not just the round $100 that you withdraw from a cash machine.

Ona the IS forums they said that you don't have to use this method of payment but can carry on with paypal.

It"s going to be really cool ...
This kills me. They're going to set up a system for holding your money, while raking in some interest on it (no doubt) before you claim it, and they'll probably rake in more on exchange rate transactions, transfer fees, whatever. Cool for them. Sure. But for us? ... and includes an iStock-branded prepaid Master Card of all things ...
Hey! Wow! Yay iStock! That is uber-cool.

$3.00 per month $1.35 per ATM withdrawal in US $2.15 per ATM withdrawal outside US
It's ok for big earners, but for somebody who earns around $100 per month at IS, it's 5% (outside US) with one monthly withdrawal. It depends a bit on exchange rates though. They may be better or worse than the alternatives.

Agree. Most online purchases are B&H and they take Paypal. This was for photography related purchases at walk-in stores and business related expenses.
