hello,

When i can see the downloads image from where and how much on the new ESP platform???

before in istock we cound see as contrubutor what they have donwloads from which photos
i hope they will that fix on the new ESP site also?
it's nice when i can see the downloads and which photos
like also another stocksites i can also see what's downloads and which photo is that is most important

At the moment you can't - whether they will provide this again in the future is not clear, though they are promising improvements at some time.

Meanwhile, if you download the .txt file from the "Export" section, then go to https://www.todayis20.com/, register and upload the file, you CAN see a pretty good list showing the images, sales and other stuff. Recommended.

Well as far as I know it's been around a long time for Getty contributors, they have recently adapted it for iStock contributors too, so yes, it's safe. Anyway, all you're doing is uploading a text file, it doesn't have access to your account or anything (I trust you don't register with the same password!).

Unfortunately though it can only interpret the lists uploaded, so as these only date from January, it can only provide data going forward, not historical sales.

If you used DeepMeta (version 2) in the past you can still access details there of course - indeed, it still seems capable of downloading data from historical sales (plus recent credit sales, although they say the royalties are not correct for those), so I suppose you could install it now even if you didn't use it to upload originally and try doing a full download. Won't be accurate of course but still useful perhaps.

No, the Connect Summary is different - todayis20 uses the "txt" file, the one in the middle. It's just a tab delimited text file and can be input to Excel if you want, but it's pretty incomprehensible on its own.

I think the Connect Summary only refers to "Connect" royalties (used to be the black line in the old stats page on iStock), but I'm not sure. In my case it only accounts for a few cents anyway, and in fact makes up the difference between what the txt file sums to and what they actually paid me.

DeepMeta 2 (the old one) can no longer be used for upload but does still fetch statistics from the old system (at least, it does for me), but only for credit sales. It will also give you a current balance though again, that won't include subs, PP or GI sales, and may not even be accurate as I presume it was based on the old royalty system, so don't rely on it. But at least you can see credit downloads (or some of them, I'm not sure!).

DeepMeta 3 is in development and the current version can only upload. Useful for that but not much else. Franky promises he will make it all singing and dancing when he can (and when Getty provide the ability for him to do so). He has also said he hopes to have it import historical data from version 2 at some time, but that is perhaps less of a priority.

All Hail Franky I say. He does a great job.

Another thought - don't know if they've fixed it yet but last time I downloaded it, it still contained their test rows, showing 0 gross royalty.

Consequently, if you upload it to todayis20 it will indicate more downloads than you actually have, since each row counts as a download, and the average figure it gives will be wrong too.

I imported it to Excel and deleted all the zero rows in hopes of getting something more accurate. Worked fine. The total royalties should still be the same (and should match what they paid you, except for anything in Connect).

Thanks very much! When I look at the other statement type - monthly - I only see the January results. Is it correct to say that you can export and look at all the sales that went into that total, but you can't see anything about February earnings until the 20th March?

Yes, when the February report is issued on 20th March, I would presume you can download the txt file for that, add it to the todayis20 database and it will then show the cumulative reports, or by month, as selected.

At least, I assume that's how it works! The January report is the only one issued so far so that's all the iStock contributors have.
