I know this already has been mentioned in the ESP thread but I wanted to dedicate some seperate space to complain about the details of that email.

Well at least one specific point that made me curious. Amongst other points of that "detailed" statement they say:

Quote
Each statement will include:
   date of sale
type of sale; credit pack, subscription, Premium Access (formerly Getty 360/Getty Plus), etc.
   contributor credit line
   asset ID, title and/or caption
   customer cost of sale
   royalty rate

Why on earth do we need to know the customer cost of sale? Don't we want to see our final commission? I guess we should bow to their feet for also stating our royalty rate (which will induce seizures to many...) so that we can calculate our commission for every sale?

Maybe I just misunderstood.

perhaps they will detract the "customer cost of sale" from our 15%

Mail says, that apparently, earning statistics will be shown only one time per month, yet sales statistics (without earnings) will be updated daily. Did I understand this correctly?

Thats my understanding due to their complex subs formula i.e they cant calculate till end of month,

That's my understanding too. Not that I like it, but it makes sense.

PhotoSpin (the only other site that I know to use this calculation) shows earnings in real time, but it means nothing because they can change - including going down - before the month is over.
