I told myself I'd see what the January sales looked like before leaving, but more than 10% of mine are now below $0.25, which is not okay. To others who left iStock, did you see any sales increase from the other microstocks afterward, or should I not expect to see a bump?

Well, it's unlikely you'll see a bump because X image can't be found on IS and they go looking for it. But you'll sleep a lot better at night

You won't get more from other sites because of your dropping iS, but you pick up dignity.

If you really can't afford the hit stop uploading, work hard on other sites. You can delete later when income is no longer significant from IS. If people refuse to take their s**t their markets share should slide eventually resulting in a bump from better paying sites, but either way I won't be giving them any more of my work to give away.

Are you referring only to photos , or the same apply for footage as well?
I have never uploaded to istock, just curious to know how footage is doing there

I have a few videos in my port but mainly images. I can't really draw any conclusions regarding videos as my data set is too small.

Footage sales were middling when I deactivated my files as far as DL count goes. But they lowered their prices and commissions down to where indie contributors receive only $6-8 for HD and 4K sales, and that is truly unacceptable.
