This is indeed sad, a new kind of infringement, at least I have not seen it before.
I think dafont is a pretty reputable business, has been around a long time. They seem to be cognizant of IP issues. The infringer has 177 fonts on there. I would email dafont and notify them of the infringement and maybe they will remove all of the guy's fonts. That might serve as a deterrent to other fontographers doing the same sort of thing.
