Just had a sale after not uploading for 2 years is it a sign of an upturn or freak?

Thanks - no need to start uploading then! - Just done a check - it seems they are uploading again not sure what limits etc are.

I had 2 sales in 6 months, they aren't fully closed.. selling is still continuing but they are not accepting any images from contributors.

I just uploaded over 100 images and they were all accepted. I think they lifted the upload ban a few months ago. Perhaps that reinstated it?

They have been hanging tough although I only get maybe 1 sale every 6 or so weeks.  I'm currently supporting them because they are a fair trade agency, but I have been toying with getting rid of three agencies, GL being one of them.

I had one 30 dollar sale in September � my best month ever on GL.

As a contributor who gets a download here and there, I really would like to support this site. As a image buyer, it is very tough to search their site for any pictures due to the lack of variety in their search results. I shouldn't see the same contributors photoshoot with the same model being shown over and over again in the first pages... Maybe it is lack of sales from my searches but i spent 20 minutes on it last week and had to move to another site to check.
I think they need to spend some money fixing this problem if they plan to step up their game.

Uploading is only possible via the site - no ftp - so not as easy as it was.
And with sales as rare as hen's teeth, even this often seems too much hassle....
Shame.
