I have about 1000 movies in two years. Downloads per month 150 ~ 200

It annoys me the time of movie acceptance. Couple months

Are shutterstock or pond5 selling new movies? How many sales can you have with 1000 videos

Probably not worth it to go non-exclusive just so you can sell on Pond5 as well. But if you go on a bunch of other agencies as well: Fotolia, Shutterstock, VideoBlocks etc... then it would be.

Videohive is raising my rate to 75% commission.

If I give up the exclusivity, can I ever go back to Videohive Exlusiv and get 75% commission?

70% is their highest commission rate. There may be very rare exceptions where they pay more, but I think you'd have to sell more than 200 clips a month for them to give you any higher than the standard rates. Are you sure they're giving you 75%? What level are you?

As for going back and getting the same rate, I'm pretty sure you would. I know if you start as non-exclusive, then you change to exclusive, they'll honour the sales you've already made and put you straight in at the higher commission rate... so I'm pretty sure if you got to non-exclusive and then back, they'd probably do the same.

So 200 downloads a month, at $8 a go, means you'll go up 1% every ten weeks or so. Give or take.

So you'll reach 70% in just over two years.... give or take.

In the queue I have hundreds of movies. There is a problem with long review. How do I know if Envato will not remove the Videohive port like Photodune? That is why I am considering exclusivity

The outlay just wasn't worth it for photos... they needed to become more lean and efficient, focusing on better selling items. As videos generate about eight times more than photos, twenty four times more for 4K, plus the millions they make from AE files... I'd be very surprised if they do the same there.

It's over 30 seconds when it goes up to $9, so no need to do 60 seconds unless you really want to. Not sure if there's just two reviewers, but you never know.

I submitted a few clips to VH and they are still sitting in the queue.
From their forum it appears that waiting time is 5 months now and increasing fast.
You guys sound optimistic about it, but in my opinion this sort of waiting time sound like a death toll, like at Dissolve and 123 RF.
I am talking just about footage, I know that VH does well in other areas.
It looks like small agencies are having a very hard time competing in the video arena

They can't keep up with the amount of new video content being submitted. They've said in the forums they are aware of the issue and are actively trying to find a solution.

As for variations of for example sea waves, Think about what the buyer can do with the file. If you submit a file that was shot in 60FPS, then they can slow mo the shot themselves. Same with speeding a clip up.

I wouldn't really lump real time and time lapse together since a time lapse generally covers a period of time that normal video is not feasible for.

You're wrong. Can not upload 2 seconds 240fps. I need to edit up to 24fps 20 seconds movie.

Time lapse. I will not send the film 20 minutes. I also need to speed up the program for a short 10 seconds movie

Normal movie time is 60fps or 30fps Real time 10 seconds movie

I ask. Can i send 3 types of videos of the same shot at Videohive. Slow Motion, Time Lapse, Real Time. Whether this spam? What to choose?

He answered your question. None of it was wrong. It would be wrong if he'd advised you to upload a 2 second clip at 240fps, it would be wrong if he'd advised you to upload a 20 minute clip, and he would be wrong if he said you can't upload a real time clip and a timelapse clip... but he didn't say any of those things. You did!

I do not think we understand

A 60 second 60fps- movie does not allow for slow motion or time lapse to be a mistake.

For one shot of 3 sea waves.

2 seconds recording sea waves ( edit software 20 seconds slowmotion 240fps)
20 min recording sea waves ( edit software 20 seconds time lapse)
60 seconds sea waves ( Without editing 60 seconds 30fps real time)

Can I send all shots? Three movies are different speeds. Does this spam?

Time lapse and real time are very different so submit them as separate files.

Real-time and slow-mo can be achieved with the same file so why not just submit one that covers both bases? Unless you want to take it to the extreme and make a super slow mo or long real time clip. It's all relative. You can only push the footage so far and have reasonable file sizes and clips. For the extreme example you gave, three different clips would probably work.

I personally think a shorter clip with higher frame rate is more useful. A 30 second clip shot at 60 fps can be slowed to less than half speed and still be smooth so it's got a wider appeal. Why make the buyer look harder than they need to?
