This is all theory and has nothing to do with practice. Your opinion is not interesting because you have never sold your video on Artgrid or Storyblocks.
There is such a Netflix service, the subscription costs little money, but Netflix earns a lot of money in the end. The same goes for Artgrid or Storyblocks.
Yes, there are buyers who pay a lot of money and buy videos on Pond5 or shutterstock, and there are still a lot of people (millions) who buy a subscription to Artgrid or Storyblocks.
In general, I know video sellers on Artgrid or Storyblocks and I know what to write about here, but you dont know sellers on Artgrid or Storyblocks.
Goodbye.

If you read carefully what you wrote you will realize what you say applies to you. you don't sell there and it's just theory or talk from people you say you know. On the other hand i do know how many downloads we need to make on artgrid to make 6 digits but i won't tell you to not spoil your dream or fantasy.
Cheers! :)

I sell on other subscription stocks like Envato Elements and more. And I know how much money I get from Envato.
Your firm is not the only subscriber to artgrid. There are many subscribers and everyone pays for a subscription.
Also, your example is off topic at all. If I've talked to those who sell their videos on Artgrid or Storyblocks, then you haven't even done that.

Don't get me wrong but just saying that "people make more money in Artgrid and storyblocks" than other sites is not enough. It's just your opinion and not a fact. And when i ask for facts or anything substantial that outlines your affirmation you come up with "i know people" and "i sell on envato elements". Well.... I've been on Envato via videohive for 12 years but please enlighten us:

Do you make 6 digits with less of 2000 downloads on envato elements? yes or no?
Does any of the people you know on artgrid makes 6 digits with less of 2000 downloads? yes or no?

Otherwise i feel that you are just here for joking/trolling with us. Are you? ::)

What is 6 digits? Is it 100,000 dollars?
I don't count the number of downloads, I only count the dollars Envato pays me. And Envato pays me a lot more than Pond5. I also have a lot less videos on Envato than on Pond5.
What are we to talk about? You do not sell videos on Envato.

Thanks for your response. It was very enlightening for the differences of opinion we were having. Btw you can find how many sales you made on earnings/item_sales page. On Artgrid they don't tell you how much downloads/sales you make. They only give you one payment at the end of the year.

I am happy Envato works better for you. For my portfolio it's exactly the opposite.
Wish all the best for your sales!

This guy has only about 200 clips on Artgrid, but made $4,000 in 2021 he says.  That's actually very high revenue per clip.  But also he says revenue per download is only about $0.50.  So, I think it all comes down to whatever you are comfortable with.  Those who are selling on Artgrid tend not to be traditional stock video creators.  They are filmmakers who put their footages on Artgrid.

Yes, Artgrid has very specific content in my opinion. But here on Storyblocks the content is the most common, as well as on other stocks.

I'm not interested in the number of sales or downloads and efficiency, I'm not a statistician. I'm only interested in money. And if my videos are downloaded on envato elements even 1 million times in one day, I dont care. I only look at the total amount of money envato and other similar stocks are paying me.
You link to your portfolio all the time. But as I understand it, you have never sold your videos on subscription stocks, but nevertheless you claim that subscription stocks are nonsense. Are you making $100,000?

Subscription stocks and standard stocks are completely different markets, and buyers are also basically different everywhere. Keeping a count of the number of downloaded videos and calculating the efficiency for comparison is not the right approach. You only need to compare the total amount of money that stocks pay at the end of the month.
