Looks like another scam by the folks that brought you Freepiks. They've come up before and there's a youtube video exposing them too I think. They are extremely evasive when you try and find out what it's about (someone posted their email exchange with them). I keep getting email spammed by them too.

EDIT, found the link:

If you say so.
By the same token, they came briefly on here and claimed to be genuine, without any backing

Didnt they also tell you that they had no connection to Freepik, which they clearly do (founded by one of the main guys at Freepik and have Freepik associates giving the only endorsements)?

My assessment isnt to do with the video (aside from that helping expose the connections to the Freepik ambassadors). A 2 minute look at their website should have alarm bells ringing for anyone.

Is 'Russian YouTube video' code for something I'm not hep to?
Otherwise I've no idea what you're talking about.
I haven't made up my mind. I'm just saying they have done, said or shown nothing which engenders any confidence.
We've (mostly) all been bitten before by much more credible players.

i said they had nothing to do with freepik, in other words, your images do not go up on freepik and they are not looking to give your images away for free. what they do is, look at agencies where you are NOT selling yet and add your images to their portfolio for that agency and you get paid for sales. of course with a middle man you get less than selling direct, but if your images are not with an agency you make nothing. ,

anyway, i think they are legit, just dont want to handover my personal data to them in light of the recent events at 123,

It is not a scam at all. No scammer would great a such a open website.

It does the below:

We are managing to get to many platforms with the best economic and strategic distribution. We do not sell your content for you, instead we send your work to several online vendors that already do a great job of marketing and selling your content.

To me it is simply another service like Blackbox and Wirestock. They only use other words ;).

Minor diversion for educational and language in posts.

Libel = Tangible: Print, writing or pictures.
Slander = Intangible: Spoken words or gestures.

Writing on a forum would be Libel not slander.

Personally, since I already use Wirestock I don't need another distribution channel that covers the same places. That makes no sense?

I suppose when people get ideas, they look at new ideas that are a success. WS is a success. I'd expect to see more and more copies and efforts. Kind of like how Microstock exploded in the beginning years.

i realize you know this, but would also be a ToS violation since WS only takes images not available elsewhere

Hi everyone, My name is Halay Alex, here is my portfolio newbielink:https://www.shutterstock.com/g/halayalex?rid=883822 [nonactive]
I want to leave my review here about Vechpo company. I have been working with them for 2 years. They helped me to make very lucrative deals with different Photobanks and increased my income but  I can't write more specifically because nondisclosure agreements have been signed with both Vechpo and Photobanks.
I can only say that in my case I was lucky to make more than 3 deals. There is no deception. They are not a fraud. You just cooperate on mutually beneficial terms.

The english on your site is terrible... the percentages and the money involved are hidden. Your business location is not visible, but I guess it's from spain. I would surely not get involved with you, there's too many undisclosed stuff.

OK next lesson: Scientific Method

question, hypothesize, experiment, collect data, conclude, communicate.

Something that there could be more of instead of, some people who come to conclusions, without collecting data or observing past, what they imagine, or driven by personal bias?  :)

Good point that I was actually overlooking because I wasn't going to join. Now I'm taking a closer look because they offer some agencies that I don't send anything to.

It appears they, VECPHO, distribute to many agencies that Wirestock does not. The FAQ says they charge a commission, but doesn't say what it is? I can't see where I could select agencies, that I don't already contribute to myself or through Wirestock.

Now for the possible answer to the conclusions and discussion, further up the thread.

lvaro Garca, CEO of Vecpho After years being Growth and Account Manager in Freepik Company, leading an exploration around the world in different Conferences in Bangkok, Baku I was watching about what the authors were looking for to improve their skills, and how to increase their incomes. Also, getting in contact with different authors around the world, I see there were some needs which one a project as Vecpho could help all of them. So, after left Freepik Company, I started an own finance startup, Loonfy, but with the time, I received several demands from Microstock authors, asking me to help them to distribute their portfolios. In that way, I acquire Vecpho project, and we started months ago with a better image of the agency to create value for the authors of this Stock Market.

Who would sign up for unknown commission (bold in your post) or what's really behind the place? Let me add, they say dozens of sites but don't say who or what they are. Sending a message to contact us on their site, Half the page is in English the other looks Spanish, then I Clicked send and I got, "There was an error sending your message."

They need to get organized and post useful information that artists would want, on their website. I can accept language issues, but missing the critical important information for an artist is just a terrible flaw.

REALLY? I'm highly suspicious about the claims and this place, something just doesn't seem right.

They offered me $2000 upfront if I sign some "Collaboration Statement" giving them a non-exclusive right to distribute my files. With only 200-ish files to give them, I conclude they're either deluded, or maybe they have access to some unknown marketplace (very doubtful). I played it safe, I ignore them.
