I must admit the commission levels look interesting although I'd be concerned where you're getting the revenue to run and market the site when you're paying up to 70% in commission.

Without a decent marketing campaign how do you intend to get the sales, oh and I think it would be important to let people know how much the images are selling for as I couldn't find any info on the site.

Something I'll keep my eye on though.

no office address, no phone number, no single person name on the site - and you are asking for a photocopy of my passport! Great start :D

A year ago we had a leak of information. It is a complete anti-advertising, to which we have no relationship, although it was about us.

Billions of creative minds...? So you expect the whole of mankind to become contributors? Well, at least you are thinking big!  :P

Hallo. Natrlich gibt es. In naher Zukunft werden alle Formen und Regeln auf unserer Website verfgbar.

Gibt es dann auch Mitarbeiter die Deutsch als Muttersprache haben?

Just commenting that the sentence above wasnt written by a native German speaker.

Maybe you should soon disclose which company is driving this website and where it is located.  In Switzerland, like in Germany, all businesses have to have an "Impressum" page with company details, name of the Managing Director etc...as soon as they put up a website, even if it is a beta test. If you dont any competitor can sue you immediatly.

So - are you a Swiss company, based in Switzerland?

And why are you making the UK your legal base?

From your website:

"Applicable law
These terms and conditions and the content of this website are governed by English law whose courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction This Web site can be accessed from all territories of United Kingdom, as well as from other countries around the world. As each of these jurisdictions has laws that may differ from those of United Kingdom, by accessing this Web site, you acknowledge and agree that all matters relating to access to, or use of this Web site shall be governed by English law applicable therein (without reference to conflicts of laws principles).
You also agree that any claims or disputes whatsoever arising hereunder shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts of United Kingdom and acknowledge that you do so voluntarily."

What is the registered name of the company and where is it registered / incorporated ?

I am sure that you would agree that people would be best to not upload their pictures to you or provide you with copies of passport details, payments details etc until you have built your site and provided much more information.

- I see Cobalt has asked same question whilst I was writing that.

If the previous attempt was "premature," don't you think you should wait until you have something to offer before offering?

Much of the website looks like it wasn't written by an English native speaker either.

It is incredibly ignorant to advertise a new microstock venture to this group without, apparently, doing your homework. Searching related topics here would have alerted you to the dangers of your asking for images without having any of the pertinent information. We are not a bunch of dummies here. We value our time.
If you are just unaware that these issues are important up front, I hope you didn't quit your day job.
There is no way to fix a rotten first impression. You dug yourself into a pretty deep hole.
To sum things up, no sale.

Still, where is the Impressum if you claim to be "Swiss"? I did work on German and Swiss site launches, and that is the first thing that went up, whether Beta or not. The German managers were pretty firm about that

This is the address given to the domain registrar. It does not list a company as the owner or that the company is located in Switzerland.

In Germany there are very high fines for not adding an impressum immediatly. I know, because it happened to a friend of mine. He had to pay over 6000 euros in fines because the impressum was put up only ONE WEEK after the website went online. It also was a beta version they were still working on. The court didnt care. The law is the law. As soon as you operate a commercial website you have to have an Impressum page with all company details. And since they are signing up new business partners through this web site, they are a full commercial website under Swiss law (Swiss business laws are often more strict than those in Germany).

So either they are not based in Switzerland or if they are, they are extremely naive and have no business experience.

Yes it was, and it was by me. I just like to leak.  :P
You were hosted then in Moldavia, piggybacking on the fame of the "Swiss" brand name. You had hidden all your WHOIS info. There still is no real business info on your site but you made some progress hosting your site physically in Switzerland. To be trustworthy in business, more will be needed, alas, than changing the physical location of the server and putting Swiss flags all over the landing page.  ;)
