Alamy: We just heard back from our distributor.
Sorry that they no longer need these 2 images.

Last time I get my hopes up when it comes to this silly game  :P
>:( :(
At least you heard back. I'm usually waiting with fading hope then give up.
Sorry about the disappointment.

Sorry about the disappointment.

Thanks. It's OK...at least they showed an initial interest. Would be interesting to see if the same images pop up on sale on SS, presumably by the same buyer.

I saw a nice uptick in the last two weeks of August.

FT sales are back to normal after a slow down in June, July and half of August. If things continue at this pace, September will be BME.

SS sales are also back up. Sales picked up in the last 2 weeks. Not a great month, but a good one and gives me optimism for Septmeber.

Sales are also slightly up on 123RF compared to last month.

Almost BME

Pond5 on fire this month. 90% of this months income. Only 4k sales.
Shutterstock second worst month this year.
Adobe slow
Videoblocks nothing

Is anyone else seeing a shift from HD to 4k?
70% of last 3 month sales 4k.

Did anything happen to Fotolia this past week? I mean in addition to "It's August"?
They were good the whole summer for me, doing better than SS at certain periods and then suddenly silence :(

Same here, $2 off payout and 2 days with nothing!

Let's hope they didn't hire Shutter's old CIO  :-\

Wheras my sales have markedly improved statistical variation, luck or conspiracy...who knows?

This is my best August ever but worst month this year.
Shutterstock back to 1st place and P5 to 2. Good month on Adobe.
This summer is +15% compared to last summer.
Here is my top 5 (40$+) compared with August/average of 2016 year:
1. Shutterstock    +24%/  +1%
2. Pond5            +7%/  -2%
3. Fotolia/Adobe  +407%/ +60%
4. Videoblocks     -38%/ -20%
5. 123rf             -55%/ -21%

A truly awful first half of the month retrieved by the second half somewhat to finish similar to last year's poor august. SS pretty poor DT collapse after three reasonable months RF123 showing signs of life after three dismal months Fotolia very strong second half after disappearing first. "Minnows" slow as usual. Feeling optimistic things picking up after summer slump.

After a weaker than last year July, I'm happy to see a nicely inside 4 digits August,  0.48% :D stronger than August 2016 (with SS 2.33% stronger)

BME on Fotolia, thanks to a new series I put up.  BMY on Shuttertock.  Four months in a row now of $0 on GL.  BME on Pond.

Third BME of the year so far, thanks to some nice VB sales. Shutterstock and FT/AS didn't disappoint either.

Finally calculated my sales for August. Not too bad as it turned out. http://www.backyardsilver.com/2017/09/earnings-stock-photography-august-2017/

Adobe Stock continues to do well for me - the only site with a growing return per online image:
