Hi to all :-)

Is there any book or a magazine you would recommend to buy (subscribe to) on how to make and sell good stock/product/commercial photography?

I found some inspiration on Amazon and I am thinking of buying "Photos that Sell" by Lee Frost, but maybe there are some other books and magazines I should check first...

So, are there any books/magazines focused specifically on stock photography you would recommend?

Thanks in advance for any tips :-)

Check out PDN. This is a commercial photography magazine, with very different articles than the run-of-the-mill amateur/fine art/hobby magazine.

The November 2007 issue, and this article in particular, may be of interest to members of this forum.

Excellent!

Thanks :)

The subscription price is a bit high, but it looks like they provide quite useful information and services, so I will definitely consider it :-)

I bought "Photos that Sell" by Lee Frost.  It is a great book full of really good photos and ideas.  My copy was published in 2003, it is a bit pre-digital and geared towards the traditional stock but I would still recommend it.

"Photos that sell" by Lee Frost is quite good (as every book by Lee Frost I read until now) and in the same field I appreciate "Selling photography" by Roger Antrobus (Amphoto books 2003) also outdated for everything digital and not dedicated to microstock, but very interesting and covering every aspect of the photos to make for stock.
