Active Forum = Active Sales?

Would you go along with "Active Forum = Active Sales" when it comes to Microstock sites, meaning if the site's forum is active it means more downloads for the contributor.
From my observations around, it looks that way anyway!

I think that it's  because we cant be bothered with the sites that don't make money for us.  When my sales dropped to about 40% of what they were I stopped talking on the IS forums  but once they started to go up again I started to join in again.  I didn't even look at the Fotolia forums until they started to make decent money for me.

Long before the last search changes, I did post a photos in a couple "Show me your best ____________"  posts on SS and it did seem like the artificial views might boost popularity for a short time the way the search was working then.

I used to wonder on this too. It appears to be that the active blogger and forum posters make more sales, but I don't think that is so. You make more contacts and you might get a lot more looksee to your port but does that transform into more sales, I hirely doubt that. Buyers don't go reading what you write in blogs and forum, at least I don't think so.
So post this to buyers. Hey buyers, dya really give a hoot ? lol
