Hi all fellow photographers,

last time I sent a recruit msg about Rodeo searching talented photographers. After that there were some discussion and doubts about our business since its purely for finnish customers and in finnish language. So here's the update about how things have been picked up.

We finally got our Rodeo system ready for launch in last March, unfortunately over three months late. After start everything went quite smoothly and compared to last years period of March-August we were able to raise sales by over 200%. It was a big step to us and we still believe our strategy is working and we're able to develope our system and business much further in future. At the moment we have under 50 photographers and little over 100.000 photos, the ratio is very unique. We really can offer a good exposure to a single photographer.

Ofcourse we keep eyes open to recruit some more photographers but we want to keep the total amount very small if every photographer we recruit is active. What we dont want is passive photographers and try to develope our business just recruiting as much as much possible passive photographers.

Anybody interested about selling photos thru us, please contact after checking our websites.

>>>>There is a minimum payout rate of 150 euros per accounting period. If during an accounting period, you haven't accumulated 150 euros worth of royalties, your royalties will be brought forward into the next accounting period.

why is the payout set so high?  that's more than double any of the other sites

Yes. that is in the contract, however we have lately paid out even under 50euros commissions monthly.

Also if you think that you have a very strong portfolio in content matter it is wise to contact me and ask about joining. The 1000 photo limit is suggestive.

I filled out application form. I guess you will accept DVD(s) with photos, right?

Signed up. Cannot read Finnish so I will have to find a way to search to see if my stuff is suitable.

Allthough the site is in Finnish language there is a translation engine build in (the first one in the market?). If you search in English it will be translated to a Finnish and vice versa.

There is also an option to search from just Finnish photos (Kotimaiset). Just a foreign photographers photos (Kansainvliset=International) or All photos = Kaikki kuvat. Aint all that would be just an easy to guess?  ;)

Btw. Thanks to all who have sent an application. It was a very pleasant surprise to get that many applications in a short time. We will contact to all in a few days.
