Besides good keywords and good images and a large portfolio, what else can be done to maximize fotolia's potential for a person's portfolio? I've been using folders...seems kinda like lightboxes.

Are there any other strategies/stuff one can join in fotolia to keep things moving?

Do you think folders help?  How so?

To the best of my knowledge they can be used to connect images as  a series...

http://us.fotolia.com/id/9262165 ... toward bottom of page. And I think it helps search engines too.

I'd like to make full use of Fotolia. If anyone has some insights or anything, let me know. I think I've barely tapped it... my rank so far is

Overall rank     604
7 days rank    355

... I have no idea what these numbers mean, but they are better than a year ago I think.

I wouldn't worry too much about underperforming with numbers like that.

on your images page, you check the check boxes beside the images you want to add, then at the bottom you can select the lightbox.  It doesn't look like anything happens, but they get added.

I've been going through fotolia doing little things to my portfolio...here's a new question:

Is it possible to modify catagories after the images have been submitted? On that note, are catagories very useful on fotolia?

Whats the deal with the new office 2007 thing fotolia is doing?

I don't bother with any extra stuff on any site besides istock (where I do take the time to create private lightboxes of a particular model or subject and link those in the descriptions).

I am afraid if I went to the trouble of creating lightboxes, folders, etc. on all the sites I submit to I wouldn't have much time left for shooting ;)
