I've not posted anything there since last May.
Obviously, it's a no-reply email so I can't just ask Adobe directly.
Anybody else?
Should I be suspicious?

They have a contributor forum? Oh that one, https://community.adobe.com/t5/stock-contributors/bd-p/Stock-Contributors?page=1&sort=latest_replies&filter=all
If you can find it?  ;)

I feel hurt, they didn't write to me.  ::)

Can you share with me what the email said? If you want to forward it to me via [email protected] I'll check with that team to confirm the validity for you.

Thanks,

Mat

Thanks for forwarding that email Jo Ann. I was able to confirm the email was sent by Adobe and is legitimate. The timing of the email when compared with activity (or inactivity) was due to a system migration that triggered the email alerts. Sorry about the confustion and thanks for the communication!

I know you old people value the forum format but, again, the AS discord is always popping. https://discord.gg/gsDXsrbcpf

Edit: Also. Mat, your dog is cuter than poop.

When I click your link, it has a referral-type message saying I was invited by you. What do you get out of signing people up? Why wouldnt the link just go to the adobe site?

The Discord channel is not at an Adobe site. It's an independent site and requires an invitation to join. I'd love to see you all there. Thanks for the plug Dallas and Hudson thanks you for your compliment.

Well I'm still offended that I got left out of the mistaken notification?  ;D

I'll try the Discord Channel again, it was pretty confusing for an Old Man.

Understood. But Adobe has an area there. I already signed up. Back when you invited everyone. 👍🙂 Yes, kinda confusing. Lots of neat areas, though. But not a forum like this one.

Yes it is confusing. Now that I'm on both, the Red Ball Adobe Logo = Adobe Systems Community and the other is Adobe Stock black St

I really am not comfortable with Discord, maybe I need to use it more and learn.

Interesting Doug, when did you move to Seattle?  ;)

Strange, I just got the email within the past hour approx, and I can't imagine I've ever posted on the Adobe Stock channel, never having contributed there nor on Ft before that.
Plus it's using my old Flickr user name, which isn't associated with my Adobe CC account or any other.
Still, it does say 'new here'!

Just trying to keep you guessing! How are we doing?

P.S. I would disregard the email ;)

I joined the Adobe Stock Discord a while back (and the ones for Illustrator/Photoshop etc) since I practically live on there, lots of great stuff going on but as a vector artist the content on the Stock server is pretty heavily photo based which makes sense.

If you guys are ever looking to expand it would be really cool to have an official Adobe illustration /  animation stock server. I'm in the process of building a 2D animation community, but it's not stock focused.

There are lots of specialized content ideas and technical stuff like export settings that would be handy to have an official place to chat about.
