Hello,

I have published on my blog a small tool that lets you estimate you long it will take you to reach the next ranking level at Fotolia.

Check out my free Fotolia Ranking Calculator here:
http://www.alltageinesfotoproduzenten.de/free-downloads/fotolia-ranking-calculator/

You can switch the interface language too, if you prefer German or French.

How long will it take you to reach the next level?

Best regards, Robert

thanks rob.  I had an excel spreadsheet coded when I was gunning for to emerald.. cringing every day worrying that they would move the goal posts just before I graduated to emerald (like they did once).  Now that I reached emerald I don't even both to follow the rankings there as it'll be forever before I reach the next level.  For those getting close however, it should be useful and save a few excel formulas.

Next level? I didnt know there was such one. But it sounds good. Is it an aestetic level?

great job Robert!

but how accurate is this for us mere mortals? we don't have your consistent income at FT and many reporting severe drops too, anyway thanks for taking the time!

I know and recognize the sarcasm on the aesthetic level but not into not knowing what is RPD or FT rankings, its somehow joking about microstock/contributors, I think that mostly he likes to say something funny, for me its quite irritating

The sarcasm is in the fact that it takes so long to reach the next level at FT, that it seems like there is no next level. Sarcasm.

As for the RPD, Jenns said Return Per Day as in, the downloads are so low its almost a Return Per Day instead of Return Per Download. Sarcasm.

I thought both comments were quire funny, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Im sorry if I annoyed someone.
But truely, I dont know all the abrrevations. There are so many and they are not easy for us not native speaking. But I do know RPM.
Rounds per minute.
I was trying to be funny with the aestetic thing, but the RPD was a genuine question. Also Im not familiar with the FOT levels and upgrades. So I asked. And got an answer. Fine. Thanks. I also wanted to show you that despite I have been a long time contributor, since 2007, I have not really cared about all the unimportant details.
But Im sorry if I annoyed you.

I also had no idea fotolia had rankings (although it's only my first year). I find their site tricky to find stats so I usually don't look often. And right now the page seems to be down...

Very cool little app.

Between 7 and 12 months for next level for me, depending on which stats I use.

2013 is looking like the year of the Level Increase for me on a number of sites! Sadly, probably in the 2nd half of the year though. Shame - I want it now! ;)

By the way: Please make sure to remove all comma or dots between the numbers, otherwise the calculator will not work properly.
