I currently can not upload (via FTP) and can not convert credits at FL.

Anyone else?

Regards,
T

There's still a lot to be sorted there.

I'm not going to upload until everything settles.

not be able to upload is annoying but I can understand, not being able to get at those hard earned credits  is very annoying.

One strange thing on my credit list page is that "version 1" credits from 11th to 13th of June have not been validated still orange usually there is a three day wait but the credit from photo that sold this morning (and any other version 2 credits) has been validated.

On the bright side sale numbers seem similar to version 1 sales and a few folks are buying XL images at the new price.

Not being able to cash out your credits is really annoying!!!

They're supposedly working on it so I will be more patient.  But I sure could use that $100+  now! :)

No uploads and no conversions either. I emailed about the latter, and they said they were having problems that were expected to be sorted out soon.

Now, give me the name of the IT company they hired, so I don't risk ever hiring them.  :D

Dead.

Speed down here in OZ has slowed to V1 levels.

No progress being made on bugs etc.

Instead of being 'progress', this is becoming the 'beginning of the end' for Fotolia.

Edit: Oh, I meant to mention that I've had to put a post on the FT forum drawing their attention to the fact that in 'my messages' the 'inbox' is misspelt as 'my indox'.

'My Indox'?  I mean c'mon; how sloppy and amateurish can you get.........?

Sales are happening more now, I hope it's a trend.

Still can't convert my credits yet, but I understand other bugs are a priority.

In theory with the database cleaned up should improve.

I'm not seeing that (yet) but live in hope.......

I expressed my personal opinions on the whole V2 situation and was censored. The system is still not fixed.  My ancestors were slaves and were told to "obey"....not me.

Yes, the censorship thing on those forums is appalling.

I've realised that this morning I haven't bothered to check FT.  Usually the first thing I do is check all the agencies for sales, approvals etc.  I did that this morning and now realise that I didn't bother to check FT......

Perhaps my brain has finally decided to accept that FT isn't worth looking at, at least not for now,.....

That's hilarious!  :-)  Sorry...I'm at a point where all I can do is laugh.

The sort dates in the stats are also backwards, upside down, whichever way you want to look at it.

If we can all learn something from this fiasco, I think it might be this: you get what you pay for.

FT could have invested a significant amount of thought and capital in their upgrade. They could have hired an internationally-renowned company to upgrade their database and revamp their user interface. They could have exhaustively tested their site before launching it.

From the current state of things, it appears that they chose to minimize the cost, and are now reaping the benefits from this approach. I hope they learnt something from this, and have already changed their thinking.

Upgrading so many things at once was suicide. Nobody does that and you can see why. They made a lot of noise about V2. They chose publicity over stability.

I hadn't noticed it before (in case it was already in the previous version), but now there is a detailed report of sales in My Credits page. It shows however 5 "pending" sales dated June 11 and 12.

Curiously though, I have just sold a 2-credit image, and my earnings raised only 35c instead of the 70c.  As the 70c are stated there too, I wonder if any of these pending transactions has been cancelled.

Has anyone had the same problem?

Regards,
Adelaide
