Contributors from EU countries are pissed off because they get their payment in US Dollar. They loose about 10 Percent of their income. Holy crap.

Whilst forcing payment for Adobe products in local currency.

That's the part that really irritates.

Not just that. They also use our images to train their AI softwear, claiming that it was ethical because they only used "their" images (It is OUR images! not THEIRS!) and claim that they had been in conversation about a compensation for this usage of our images with contributors (A lie), oh, and they say they plan to compensate us once the training is done, without anyone knowing whether that will really happen, how much that will be and with no option for us to opt out.

They also need up to a full month to review content by now, while Mat claims that they are making "progress" with reviewi times (yeah, BACKWARDS progress, as it seems) and the number of random rejections for perfectly fine photos has gone up.

I am not religious, but if I was, I would indeed pray for Adobe - Pray for them to finally turn around and get their sh!it together.
But since we will be completely replaceable in the future and Adobe won't need us anymore once they have slaughtered our content for their AI, I guess we have reached a new low of how you can trample on contributors, becaus eno matter how much you piss them off and how many turn your back on them - it won't matter in the future.

That isn't just Adobe. Camera equipment too.

They just change the currency icon and leave the numbers.

...

I was thinking today that its possibly even worse. They are accepting AI images produced by other apps, which they could then use to train their AI offering (as they say it is trained on the Adobe Stock library), washing the moral culpability even further and possibly shielding themselves legally.

I seem to remember it was mentioned in a paper about open source vs corporate controlled AI that you can even get better results from a more limited dataset by using AI generated sources to train another app. Honestly Im shocked by how bad AS has been over this, even compared to the worst of the other agencies.

Yeah, it's so disgusting, I go crazy when I see people in PS groups discussing how ethical Adobe is unlike other AI sites. So Adobe, we pray for your lying soul.

Today I had two Video-Sales so long at AS;
on for $6.40
another one for $2.80

I have a cut in income because I get paid in $ now.

Extended licenses are on a level of maybe 25 % of that, as it was in the last years.

So there is not just one cut in income to me!

Recall one moment that you are grateful for from the past with Adobe.
Remember how you felt.
Notice these feelings and reflect that all good things that came yesterday.
Offer your thanks.

I see a discussion where there is general whining about all sorts of things.

I have nothing to complain about Adobe and I am completely out from the chorus of complaints.

Rejection are very few for me this year, they gave us codes in the contributor bonus program, soon they pay us 5 USD for each selected content,it seems to me there has been a communication that there will be a compensation model for the use of our content to train Firefly.

For the moment, sales are clearly above the average every month, and yes,I'm also in the euro zone, but okay, these are difficult times,I don't think anything serious has happened for the moment.

As far as I'm concerned Adobe is the best agency out there so I have nothing to complain about, because if I have to start complaining about Adobe as well,at this point I abandon the microstock completely.

Maybe I'll start complaining when I won't earn anymore! :D

$5 for allowing them to use your content for corporate marketing... Shame on them? or shame on you?

This is a great opportunity, have money for your work,on loan for only one year, and then as I have already verified the contents start selling again shortly after returning to the paid library.

A great opportunity I hope you didn't miss it! :D

I like to whine about my declines, but I really like Adobe. Compared to all that is out there, it is one of the best places by far.

Plus they give me the opportunity to practise and learn about ai content.

370 files and 55 sales so far. It will take a few years, but it is something really new to explore.
