For how many months or years stock image can sell (not seasonal)?

It's hard to tell without more information about the content and the placement - it's not seasonal, but is there any other timely factor that would make it higher in demand during certain times, like some current news event? You say it's still on top of "several" seraches, but is it still on top for the most obvious one? It's a big difference if an image is on top for the search for a very popular keyword or just one of the minor keywords or even just the combination of keywords. Another possible factor - Have other images with similar content appeared in the top of the search that customers might prefer?

Adobe is doing something to the search algorithm

I recently had a best-seller that sold 6-7 times per day. All of a sudden - 3 sales in a whole month. Lol.

I guess they're shuffling content in search rankings and trying to give everyone a shot, but it's frustrating when you bestsellers just disappear of the map. That happened to me with several images over the last few months. It almost feels as if my new uploads "bump down" my bestsellers in search rankings - maybe best not to upload if you have good results. I don't know. But whatever it is, it's meh.

I have the same experience.

This happend to me as well and I discovered AI images with titles identical to mine in every rarely used 15 words even to the rare location in North Europe, which of course was not there. I guess these great AI "artists" copy titles of high ranking images to generate their images. Would be nice to know if you find images with identical titles, too.

OMG!!! You are correct! There are several people who copied my description and keywords one to one and generated similar images to mine. 😱

Is copying intricate/unique tittle and description one to one legal on Adobe?

So does Zwarte Piet? I just noticed my holiday images, suddenly spiked up is sales. Or it could just be that Winter seasonal type images are needed more, now that Halloween has passed? But I wouldn't doubt that Adobe and everyone else, changes the weighting of subjects, based on demand and the time of the year.

I think customer buys is the major driver for all algos everywhere.

Yes, seasonal images are having a strong uptick, finally my stuff is getting sales.

It is much later than I am used to. On the other agencies the christmas sales start much earlier. Perhaps customers use preview images more and just buy in the end, I don't know.

Might also be a first year effect, most of the stuff is new.

I only uploaded to Adobe, because I thought Adobe would protect from blatant copycats.
