I liked some contributors portfolios but why there is no option to follow them? Why?

It's been discussed. It's a matter of prioritizing engineering resources. I wouldn't be surprised to see this feature some day. When? Your guess is as good as mine.

are you a buyer or a flaneur?

stock is not fine art & names/branding don't really matter, except perhaps in extraordinary cases

to work in stock photography, you have to abandon ego - buyers don't care about your brand/portfolio - this is a hurdle for 'pros' who want to sell stock, but it's easily overcome with the right attitude

stock images are a commodity - most buyers aren't interested in the artist - they want work that fits their current needs - so broad portfolios don't add much, and like categories are a waste of time. at best when they view your port, tghey might look at similar im ages, but don't care about your other work.

To be able to follow resources easily and build a personalised stream of fresh content to browse is the best solution for buyers and saves tons of time.

Twenty 20 had that and it was immensely useful. You could just follow every gallery/collection you liked and every artist you found useful.

You then had a page with a fresh content mix, similar to pinterest.

You could still do normal keyword searches, but the personalized feed was brilliant.

ideally you should also be able to follow a keyword search as well. Then you could build a perfect personalized feed and easily collect interesting content from the different sources you follow.

And now with ai, you could also add ai created content suggestions based on your feed preferences. The visual style that you like to follow can flow into the files you create with the agency ai.

Just Wow, So, that's more important to Adobe, than giving contributors option to select thumbnail for videos?? Which we requesting from years...

Thanks Mat, I appreciate that it has been discussed.
I was working with a team and we were going through the stocks on Adobe where we liked some users work and bookmarked them. But we really missed the follow button which would come more handy than bookmarking all the portfolios.
