I'm confused by DT's Referral Program. I got an e-mail from DT a few weeks ago saying that someone had signed up via my referral link. But it didn't show up on my admin page until now.

It says:
1 users were referred by you.
No photographers were referred by you.
No buyers were referred by you. No payment plans were purchased.

What exactly is a "user" If it's not a contributor or a buyer?

A user is someone who became registered "under your name", for the next 3 years, using your referral link, but haven't done any activity on the site yet.
Be patient, maybe he/she will become a very active buyer, or the next top seller perhaps.
